The One thing i always wanted in a key responce was a buemp area were i know the key was "activated" , even if i bottom out. very few membrane keyboards had any tactile feel to them, MS branded ones had some feel.
I had used abused and ruined from use many $5-$100 membrane keyboards , only one of them had some feel. I also did not like having less "pressure" for different keys. many of the keyboards applied a pressure map, so it is easy to push the keys with your pinkey fingers. Because i am all over they keyboard (not touchtype) the key responce in different areas was different, making more misses.
When a person is gaming , are they ever really using a proper touchtype hand postition?

I do not. One hand on WASD. One on the mouse

Then there is rollover, and how many keys can be pressed at any one time, something that might be important for gaming. But i never found any need to push 14 keys all at once :-) So i never even worried about the fact that this keyboard will not do it.
I think my maximum death grip key psycosis press is 3 at a time .

Not a particularly fast typist, but I can typically do about 45-50 wpm

Where your going backwards in a circle , running, and shooting (mouse) around one of those "bosses" after the developer shuts the door behind you, puts you in a stupid arena .
Is that with or without misteaks? I cant type a 120, then if i spell checked , proper punctuated, capitolised, needed numbers, probably a fast 25 :-)

That's adjusted for mistakes.
This old typing game said 49 wpm for the English word list
I still had a Windows version of the game on my flash drive but haven't played it in years
Raw speed is probably somewhere around 55-60 wpm.
Last time I played this game, according to the high score list, was September 9, 2010 (converted from seconds since Unix epoch, as stored in the high score file), and it indicated a speed of 28 wpm with a much higher error rate
In high school, in the computer class, we were required to spend a few minutes every day doing typing practice using Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing, but never actually bothered.
I wound up picking up touch typing on my own out of necessity in college and this score reflects several years of ongoing touch typing experience.
Touch typing (also called touch type or touch method or touch and type method) is typing without using the sense of sight to find the keys. Specifically, a touch typist will know their location on the keyboard through muscle memory. Touch typing typically involves placing the eight fingers in a horizontal row along the middle of the keyboard (the home row) and having them reach for other keys. Both two-handed touch typing and one-handed touch typing are possible. Frank Edward McGurrin, a court stenographer from Salt Lake City, Utah who taught typing classes, reportedly invented touch typing in...
The average is about 41 wpm.

Stuff with built in Wristrests (keyboard and mouse) or bezels , never sits at the correct angle for me. so I prefered to not have them, or toss the ones they came with. Then use a simple padding there. Today that is a gell pad for the trackball, and a leather bound memory foam (very soft sink into it) wrist rest.
tesorotec.com/durandal-esport looking at this "sport" model, that extra bezel chunk would have to be removable.
Uses either black or red switches, and it is saying no feedback? I dont think that will work for me anyways. I do not need Loud and obnoxious (buckling spring) but it must have a feel for when the switch has switched.

Was wondering how fast I could type, started up the game, and was surprised to find that I had improved this much over the last few years.

11:55 PM
"Kailh" clone keyswitches , wonder how good they are in the long run.

Okay, just did a bit of typing on the typewriter. The keys don't quite feel right as there's no tactile indication for the F and J keys and there is no tactile feedback on a keystroke.
The typewriter proper is still functional.
