amusingly, I get actual interference on my Blue Yeti microphone even though its connection to my computer is digital (USB)... I think when it's laid over other wires it conducts small amounts of electricity up into the microphone's analog parts, which causes the interference, not anything to do with the cable itself

Hm. $2000 gets me a Clevo W230SS. $3000 gets me a Dell XPS 15.

The XPS has a better screen (touch, glass cover), is 15" (vs 13"), longer battery life (11hrs vs ~4hrs + 4hrs) and is thinner (2cm vs 3cm).

But costs more and has 1 yr warranty (vs 3 yrs). Also 750M vs 860M, but that's close anyway.

Oh, storage is different too but they're kinda equal...ish.
