Anyone familiar with IPIP tunnels here?

I have broadband access in my house. I have a DLink DAP 1350 Pocket Router connected to it. But it only gives me enough range for a room. I have a old DSL Modem Router with RJ11 input. Can I somehow use this DSL modem with my internet connection? I can then use my Pocket router as a repeater for my wireless signal for boosting it

Phone -> DSL modem -> Pocket Router. Seems legit. What's stopping you?

the disk doesn't have a write protect switch... double checked! Going to take it apart in case there is an internal one that has become nocked
