2:26 AM
quiet?

3:16 AM
@QPaysTaxes "Hardcore fundamentalists" might work, but that does include some good Christians. Generally though, I do think it's more likely for nutjob Christians to be fundamentalists (and the reverse may be true as well).

4:11 AM
A bit wordy though. What about "nominal Christians"? Basically, those that are Christian in name only.
Could use "WBC folk"? :P
Or "certain Christian wackos".
No problem.

@QPaysTaxes There are lots of different kinds of Christian nutjobs. You have to be more specific ;)

5:02 AM
@QPaysTaxes That's still not at all specific, and there's no reason to group all such people together.
@QPaysTaxes That may or may not be a nutjob position. Lots of very reasoned Christians uphold traditional marriage
@QPaysTaxes Well for example, there are some Christians who are libertarians. That is an identifiable group of Christian nutjobs ;)
There's another group who home birth, home school, are anti vaccine, sometimes anti police... I think there's a name for the movement, but I'm not sure what it is

@Eagel a building made of stone or wood can never be a church

11:38 AM
@bruisedreed No,but that not the point
@bruisedreed we might be saying that this is just another religion,the people who ask us to change do not respect anything
@bruisedreed The problem is not the others but us,respect for what jesus has done for us and that he is the Only way.Saying we should not kill or do bad things to keep the cross in the church,but these other religions want us to keep the cross,its the humanists that want to change us from the inside.So we have to say,This is the solution to all your problems :Jesus on the cross!
@LeeWoofenden If i start a wordpress website , can we be connected?if you have a blogg and I have a website,because we both i use wordpress?
we both i use wordpress?
we both use wordpress?
(forget the "i")

No intrinsic meaning.

>El sound like god and star.. star`s.. ... man
interesting name

@Nathaniel someday we'll have to talk more about that. American culture is frequently bewildering to us Aussies

12:49 PM
@curiousdannii same here

It doesn't help that the media usually finds the nuttiest of nutjobs to quote and show on TV

I agree I think New york .. is not like the rest of America.And so many in college want to be more like europe but they dont know what europe is
The future of America is very interesting
@LeeWoofenden need your help with my wordpress website!
@curiousdannii Do you have a stat church in Australia?

1:08 PM
Why are Christian Libertarians inherently nutjobs?

@Flimzy what is so crazy about them?I dunno much about them..

@Eagel That's my question.
@curiousdannii said:
> Well for example, there are some Christians who are libertarians. That is an identifiable group of Christian nutjobs ;)
I'm curious what he means by that.

I see
Libertarians in America ,isnt that just people who want less gouverment controle?

in a nutshell

The problem with gouverment controle is the mind behind it,the gouverment wants good things,college,healt stuff and so on.But everyone wants that! But they force everyone under the same value system
You may say what you want,just not what we dont like to listen to.And they will treat others in a way,a way they would not be treated.And lie,because there is no truth.Thats the main problem with gouverment system,they destroy others value system even them who has a higher moral then what they have

@Eagel you have to purchase a domain name or create a free sub domain at some other sites that offer that. Then you need a server service to host that domain (sub domains often offer hosting too) which can cost more money. THEN you can import a WordPress.

1 hour later…
3:53 PM
@Joshua But i use to have a wordpress account,did not cost anything ,is that something new?

4:26 PM
@Eagel WordPress is a free pre made application that you can install on your domain/host. Most web hosts will have it as an option to do an easy install for you. WordPress is not something you sign up for, it is a system you run on your site. You can then use it to build your website/blog. Your WordPress account will be your admin account for the site.
There is a WordPress site you could make an account on, but that will not help you make a website unless you are using the WordPress site as your host (not sure if they still offer free hosting/subdomain?)

4:46 PM
Just want to bless you all!

5:06 PM
@Joshua thank you for the info

5:19 PM
@LeeWoofenden Lee im ok.I have just created a website just not a wordpress site

@Eagel Unless you are a skilled web programmer and IT guy, I'd still recommend that you use one of the blog hosting sides such as Wordpress or Blogger. The hosting site will do most of the donkey work, SEO, and other background tasks for you, allowing you to focus on the content of the blog itself rather than on programming and maintaining the site.
Wordpress has two general offerings available: Wordpress.org provides hosting software that people and organizations can install on their own server or on rented server space, and use to build and customize their blogs and websites to their heart's content.
Wordpress.com is a blog hosting site that uses a pre-installed version of the Wordpress software. Wordpress users can sign up for free or paid blog hosting there. It's not quite as customizable as if you install the Wordpress software on your own or rented server, but it's easy to use, and the hosting is taken care of for you.
Personally, I use wordpress.com for my blogs (I have more than one). My main blog, Spiritual Insights for Everyday Life, uses the Premium version, which starts at $99/year. I also have a blog where I scan and post my grandfather's sermons, which uses the free version: Louis A. Dole Sermon Archive.
As you can see, the paid blog uses my own domain name: leewoof.org. If you want to do that on Wordpress, you have to purchase a premium package. The other, free blog uses a Wordpress-style domain name: louisadole.wordpress.com. Free blogs will also display ads from time to time. With paid blogs, you can sign up to monetize your blog, so that you earn some income from the display of ads.
I don't know how other blog hosting sites handle all these things, because I haven't used them. But I presume they offer similar capabilities.
As I said, the advantage of using a blog hosting site such as Wordpress or Blogger is that the site does most of the background work for you, so that you can focus on creating and posting content rather than on programming and hosting tasks. These sites will also create a certain amount of passive publicity for your blog, and even active publicity if you want to pay for it.
Of course, it's 100% up to you how you run your website. But since you asked (and I've been away from the computer since you first asked), I figured I'd at least give you the basic rundown for your consideration.

Yeah, my first/personal blog is on wordpress.com, and my second/technical blog is run by a Wordpress app on my website's server.

@Eagel And yes, it's quite easy for Wordpress users to connect to one another's blogs, follow each others blogs, and so on. It's also fairly easy for Wordpress users to follow, in their Wordpress Reader, other types of blogs, but there isn't quite as much general connectivity with non-Wordpress blogs.
One thing a blog hosting site such as Wordpress and Blogger provide is a built-in community of people with similar interests. This can help provide some initial readers and followers, and more readers and followers over time, especially if you get actively involved in the "blogosphere" for your areas of interest.
Other Wordpress users may see your posts popping up in their readers, and they can follow your blog, "like" your posts, and so on. Non-Wordpress users can follow your blog by email, and if they have a non-Wordpress blog, can probably follow you in their blog's version of a reader as well.
If you go it alone, unless you're a great web programmer, none of that connectivity to other people who share your interests will be so easily available.
This is another reason why I recommend you set up your blog on an established blog platform such as Wordpress or Blogger.
@Eagel About the language: English vs. your primary language: Unless your expected audience is mostly native speakers of your own language, English blogs will generally get more following, simply because far more Internet users speak English than any other language (though Chinese may give English a run for its money).
However, to put it somewhat indelicately, your English is not very good. So unless you can improve your English writing skills, it would probably be better for you to use your primary language. Most people, including most English-speakers, have a low tolerance for written material that does not handle their language well, and will move on if they see a website full of typos, grammatical errors, and awkward phrasing.
@Eagel I hope all of this helps. Good luck on your new website!

@LeeWoofenden what about weebly?

@Eagel Weebly?

@LeeWoofenden weebly ,website,blog and so on.. never heard of it?

@Eagel Rings vague bells, but I don't know anything about it.

@LeeWoofenden Ok.just made a website there
website and a blog in one

@Eagel Sounds good.

9:45 PM
But i was wondering if I can get connected to like your blog on wordpress or I have to have wordpress?
but I guess you dont know
Read this on your blog:God Accepts Sinners as Righteous? Interesting Topic

10:16 PM
@LeeWoofenden To comment on my language skills,Yes I speak much better then i write,
full of typos, grammatical errors.. as you say.I know it happens often when i write
I often see it after stuff is written,i dunno why I make such majore mistake when i write
But off course when you write in a chatroom like this,you are not writing to the king
And as loong as I know people understand what the topic is and what i want to say.Many of the most intelligent people in the world have problems with reading and writing.
I have no problem reading and speaking english well,but it might be something with my eyes.Not sure.
(just to add,in a blog post I would make sure ,there was no grammatical problems)
