Q: Is it ok to ask questions about mythicism, the notion that Jesus did not exist?

GreatBigBoreI see there are a couple of related questions, but not mine in particular. I am trying to find a reason to take seriously the notion that Richard Carrier and a few other experts can refute the consensus among biblical scholars -- Bart Ehrman has said (I heard him say it myself) that no reputable ...

Q: Why do some Trinitarians ascribe the name "Yahweh" (יַהְוֶה) to the Father, but not the Son or the Holy Spirit?

AndrewWhy do some Trinitarians ascribe the name "Yahweh" (יַהְוֶה) to the Father alone, and not to the Trinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit? What precedence do they claim for their practice? In regards to close votes for Too broad: I have narrowed the scope of the question to only ask about ...

May I solicit an answer?

Q: Why was a question closed quickly, without the OP being able to edit it?

DaisyA question was recently placed online, something like: Why did God change man's diet after the flood and not after the fall? It was quickly put on hold and never [closed], but soon deleted from the site. I'm curious because the suggestions said the OP had the right to edit his question to make ...

@Andrew 'Why do some Trinitarians ascribe the name "Yahweh" (יַהְוֶה) to the Father, but not the Son or the Holy Spirit?' You appear to be asking me if I can answer this question.
@Andrew I don't think I voted to close it, and there is no comment from me on the comments list. Looking at history, the Q has changed significantly from 'Do ....?' to 'Do some ...? then Why do some ...?' which probably makes it somewhat more answerable, as the first can probably be answered with a 'No' since not all Trinitarians would, and the second can probably be answered with a 'Yes' since there must be at least one Trinitarian who does. Here, 'Why' gives us (me) something to answer.
@Andrew Having said that, my understanding is that most Trinitarians see Yahweh as God the Father, and would say this is based on the OT. But it is, in my view, still too broad to answer since i) I can't read minds and you have not asked for a tradition (ie Catholicism) and to demonstrate from the OT why Trinitarians ought to believe this is too difficult in this format. Fo this reason I think I should decline.

@DickHarfield Well, I honestly asked the question so that you or someone who shares your understanding might answer, so if you would like to suggest an edit that makes the task more manageable I would be happy to oblige.
@DickHarfield How about, "What is the biblical basis that Yahweh refers to God the Father, and not ..."
And upon what observations do you base your understanding?
