@doppelgreener Post - Bad keyword coins in link text
fp- by doppelgreener

blacklisted keyword "coins" has only returned 2 tp 4-5 months ago, and 1 fp. (search)
@ArtOfCode Can/should I make suggestions to remove keywords & such that aren't doing anything useful? There've been 3 today.

yes and yes

rad. today was these website patterns: nfoodfacts.org and boostsolutions.co (here and the message right afterwards) and that keyword coins which only had 2 tp. is there a way i should handle that other than mentioning it like this?

Does Smokey add website addresses like ituredeal.co or wholesaler.co automatically to its own keyword watchlist, or is that all done manually..?

[ SmokeDetector | MS ] Pattern-matching website in answer: Apply one's abilities with a subject or to a subject? by Yerzhan Suleimanov on english.SE

@doppelgreener that's all done manually. Smokey isn't that smart (yet).

@JF because the ids are different across chat servers, and it's more efficient just to add the other two rooms when/if needed

Hm. Seems like it'd be useful to have a fitness checking subprocess inside Smoke Detector that checks for patterns that have a high false-positive rate and low or zero true-positive rate.

those aren't stats smokey has, though
those are aggregate stats kept in metasmoke

oh. well, metasmoke then, i guess!

it'd be more likely to be developed as a metasmoke API client application - not part of either Smokey or metasmoke themselves, but an add-on that someone can run every now and then

that makes sense

That question is attracting a ton of spam

10:30 PM
@quartata why does this need blacklisting?
I don't really think 4 posts qualifies as prolific enough to blacklist a username
Username blacklists tend to be relatively ineffective because of how easily spammers can change username

Fine, it's at least worthy of a watch
I don't think watch-username is implemented yet though
