But I would argue that perhaps my question is 50% fact ("What are the risks?") and 50% opinion ("Personally, would you risk it just to save money?") instead of "primarily opinion-based".
@unforgettableid: Suggestion: at a minimum, delete "would you risk it?". Preferably replace "what are the risks?" with a single factual question whose answer you would find helpful ("is it legal in California?" or "How can I test my GFCI is working?")
In my opinion (:-)) - yes. But you don't have to convince me, I'm just some random guy in the intertubes, you only need a few other folk to vote for it to be reopened. If you edit is you may stand a much better chance of persuading other people.
Since nobody else is really speaking here right now, I have nothing to go on except for what you think. If others arrive, I can consider their opinions too; but, for now, we can't know their opinions.
