Woah, time slipping away, didn't realize it was Thursday already.

Welcome to Project Update Thursday

I've been ripping up the carpeting in my old den, pulling trim, getting ready to patch the walls, and caulk some cracks.

Just spent the past hour screwing down the floor (no more squeaking).

A long time ago, I said this:

It came true Monday evening, so I reassembled my front door lock. I took pictures while I was doing it, so I might get around to doing a Q&A about how to do it.

I also replaced a broken toilet seat with one of those fancy slow-closing ones.

@NiallC. Cool! I've still been pondering it for my place. Whenever I decide to rekey the locks I'll probably go that way, but since I'm not rending out my basement these days, I have no motivation.

yeh, nothing for me, 2 weeks (hopefully) until vaca though!

keep an eye out, big things will happen!
