so there was an low-quality (doesnt answer the question) answer in the review queueu which was very helpful, but correctly dinged because it should have been a comment. i left it as is because I thought the info was valuable enough to remain on in the post

@DanHulme dupe as "create a copy" is unix usage, like dup(2). "mark as a duplicate" has been around a long time as well, and comes from transaction processing

i thought about law school, too, but i never really had a deep enough desire

in a home, we don't really have anything that would be considered part of an electrical system, except wiring and circuit breakers. we call those 'the wiring' and 'the circuit breakers'
