@AdmBorkBork i did also consider banning languages that are explicitly natural language languages
Oct 20, 2017 19:57
but i accept the possibility it may be impossible
Oct 20, 2017 19:57
i definitely am looking for people to give feedback on how to make it not too broad
Oct 20, 2017 19:56
but i didn't want to require people to only use some subset of languages
Oct 20, 2017 19:56
@HyperNeutrino the idea is like, take a language like CJam or Pyth and use those commands to do the job of the english sentence
Oct 20, 2017 19:55
@HyperNeutrino yeah i thought so. :-/
Oct 20, 2017 19:53
p.s. hi room :)
Oct 20, 2017 19:53
too broad? too clever for my own good? codegolf.meta.stackexchange.com/a/14087/17249

I assume from the language of Trump's statement that he's including people who have a job but are underemployed too. How accurate is his number if you include the underemployed?

of course sweden has more than 60 airports with an IATA code
Dec 6, 2016 18:18
that's funny because there's an airport THO in iceland that would make a lot of sense
Dec 6, 2016 18:17
oy lol
Dec 6, 2016 18:16
it's definitely finland because the next one is helsinki airport
Dec 6, 2016 18:15
@Randal'Thor TANGO / HOTEL - Finland
Oct 18, 2016 00:09
good job all
Oct 17, 2016 21:31
but like anything could be a part then
Oct 17, 2016 21:30
@Deusovi leg as a "part" seems a stretch
Oct 17, 2016 21:24
@Neon612 @Deusovi i think "in retrospect" is going to be something backwards there
Oct 17, 2016 21:12
oh derp
Oct 17, 2016 21:12
@Deusovi why hearing though?
Oct 17, 2016 21:04
PEN + ULTIMATE = PENULTIMATE
Oct 17, 2016 21:03
PEN + ULTIMATE are both in the first section
Oct 17, 2016 21:03
@Deusovi my big concern is there's no obvious way for how to combine the clues, and also we don't know what the dashes mean
Oct 17, 2016 21:02
oh, that works too
Oct 17, 2016 21:02
weird.
Oct 17, 2016 21:01
wait maybe i can
Oct 17, 2016 21:01
i can't edit it, i assume things should go through you?
Oct 17, 2016 20:57
or should i talk here first
Oct 17, 2016 20:57
@Deusovi can anyone help with your spreadsheet

Nov 19, 2016 06:23
Uhh... just because someone writes complex code doesn't mean they are "better than everyone else". I would argue the best programmers have the most maintainable code that everyone else CAN understand.

A: Unable to get the revised code in aws code deploy

Deblina GuptaWhen you say you are unable to get the revised code to the production ec2 server do you mean that your deployment is failing?

Nov 10, 2016 22:04
@AaronHall so right now this was the third post on that page:
Nov 10, 2016 21:56
i just noticed that someone commented on your nomination that you don't have as many helpfuls as some of the other candidates
Nov 10, 2016 21:56
about 20% of those are NAA flags, it's very easy to get 100 helpful flags per day with little time investment
Nov 10, 2016 21:48
@AaronHall if you want to get your helpful flag count up: stackoverflow.com/tools/new-answers-old-questions

@enderland Yannis is too busy moderating Mythology
Sep 23, 2016 17:36
I don't post here enough to care about what the rules are anymore, just the fact that I'm super anal makes me want them to be consistent, that's all
Sep 23, 2016 17:35
(thanks)
Sep 23, 2016 17:35
@RobertHarvey THE WAVE FUNCTION HAS COLLAPSED
Sep 23, 2016 17:26
these aren't Schrödinger's rules
Sep 23, 2016 17:25
so either the rules are changed or they are not
Sep 23, 2016 17:25
@RobertHarvey specifically, your answer to the name change question explicitly states they are off topic
Sep 23, 2016 17:22
assuming there is a rule change
Sep 23, 2016 17:22
It's not a fight, it's just updating an existing faq post to state the rule change

A: When is a software licensing question on topic?

durron597As a rule of thumb, questions are on topic if they are answerable by expert programmers, as opposed to expert lawyers. Additionally, here are some questions you can ask yourself to determine if your question is on topic or not: Is the question about the spirit of the license, or the detailed ...
