Would using a strain gauge be a thing? However, that would potentially require a sophisticated measuring circuit.

As someone pointed out before, people won't be able to analyze your issue without an schematic and a picture of your circuit setup. All the "I added this and removed that" comments are completely confusing.

@ThePhoton That works indeed. I wasn't expecting that even the symbol changes accordingly. So I assumed that there must be a way to place a depletion type component in the first place. Thanks.

Using Falstad Circuit Simulator, is there a way to place an depletion type MOSFET? I only see the N- and P-channel enhancement types in the dropdown.

How did i get here? ;)

Blue? :o

Maybe just "Collect card" but that sounds wrong to me as well.
May 8, 2017 09:53
I am unsure what the correct translation is "Seize card" is probably not correct.
May 8, 2017 09:53
Hi. I need a quick translation from German to English. I have a software user interface option "Karte einziehen" that indicates that a "customer card" should be "captured" when the customer is leaving and the card is inserted in the card slot at the gate.

When flagging a question as off-topic and selecting "This question belongs on another site in the Stack Exchange network", why are there only an options for "meta.electronics.stackexchange.com" and "superuser.com"? I would've liked to suggest "stack overflow".

Have to go. Bye bye
Jun 25, 2013 08:02
bye then, have to do some actual work :P?
Jun 25, 2013 08:02
Haha, virtually accepted
Jun 25, 2013 08:01
just add a comment. You "Accepted" my answer, so that indicates that it helped solve your problem. Just specify what exactly did the trick.
Jun 25, 2013 07:59
and/or upvote
Jun 25, 2013 07:58
Just go to my answer and on the right side there is an option to "accept" it as solution
Jun 25, 2013 07:58
And maybe add a comment what exactly solved it for you so other can learn from it.
Jun 25, 2013 07:57
you may now ACCEPT my answer :P
Jun 25, 2013 07:57
nice
Jun 25, 2013 07:57
:)
Jun 25, 2013 07:56
Don't forget to disable "Orphans"
Jun 25, 2013 07:55
ok
Jun 25, 2013 07:55
Maybe so, but if the two pins, GND and POWER supply on your IC are nect to each other, you obviously don't have a choice but to lower clearance to the PIN distance.
Jun 25, 2013 07:53
Just lower GND and POWER clearance to 16mil and try it
Jun 25, 2013 07:53
Clearance just means that eagle warns you during DRC if the distance for the respective signals is below the specified value. What values you actually need totally depends on what you want to achieve. But its uncommon to have 100mil for GND and low voltage supply/power.
Jun 25, 2013 07:52
I don't have Eagle 6 installed.
Jun 25, 2013 07:49
Thats probably POWER?
Jun 25, 2013 07:48
I mean the net of the PIN above the PIN that is AGND. The one that connect to the upper pad of the SMD part.
Jun 25, 2013 07:44
Ah ok. Those are very high clearance values. What is the net class of the signal connected to the PIN above AGND?
Jun 25, 2013 07:15
Never used the chat. Is this working?
Jun 25, 2013 07:15
test
Jun 25, 2013 07:15
Please post an image of your net class configuration and state what net class the pad above DGND is assigned to.
Jun 25, 2013 07:15
Glad to hear that, but you still have to fix it, since the GND polygon is obviously useless without connection.
Jun 25, 2013 07:15
Check that <Options -> Settings -> Misc: "ratsnest calculates polygons"> is selected. If you rip-up the "functioning" polygon and select ratsnest, will it properly fill again?
