So are "1 Form A" and SPST directly related or is it more related to pin orientation?

@AnindoGhosh Terminology is the biggest problem. I'm still not certain what "Contact - Arrangement = 1 Form A (NO)" means...

This is dual terminal, but we don't use the NC terminal so I don't see the need to buy a SPDT Relay.

@AnindoGhosh For what it's worth, I'm replacing this:

Simple bracket that has a hole for mounting with one screw, but I can create my own if necessary.

@AnindoGhosh Also don't hesitate to correct me if I write something illogical (ie wrong, non-sensical)

@AnindoGhosh 24V will be applied to both the coil and the switch. It's the only voltage I'm working with.

Is 1 form A synonymous with SPST? If not, does anyone have a wiki link to teach me the difference so I don't order the wrong parts?

Hi, I have a beginner question. I'm looking for a Relay that's SPST, preferably NO. A lot of parts sites use "1 form A" or just "1A" or even a combination with SPST.

It's a simple pump that moves water, it has a positive and negative wire. For the moment I used the Annotation Tools to draw a box and labeled it "Bilge Pump".

I have another basic question about CircuitLabs: how should I depict a bilge pump?
