o well theres a bounty out now
May 26, 2011 00:26
ugh, story of my life
May 26, 2011 00:23
do you have any idea about aticonfig and friends?
May 26, 2011 00:22
:)
May 26, 2011 00:21
--explain is doubly awesome
May 26, 2011 00:21
hehe
May 26, 2011 00:21
since git branching is not so simple
May 26, 2011 00:20
its made to make branching easier
May 26, 2011 00:20
yea
May 26, 2011 00:18
it might not be origin
May 26, 2011 00:18
check what the branch.<branch>.remote is set to
May 26, 2011 00:17
git push origin master:refs/heads/master
git fetch origin
git config branch.master.remote origin
git config branch.master.merge refs/heads/master
git checkout master
May 26, 2011 00:17
grb <any option> --explain tells you what it does so you have an idea what goes on
May 26, 2011 00:16
so if u have ruby installed
May 26, 2011 00:16
you can install it as a local gem
May 26, 2011 00:16
and grb is just a gem
May 26, 2011 00:16
@Cas
May 26, 2011 00:16
the dir with .git
May 26, 2011 00:16
repo root
May 26, 2011 00:14
running grb on root of repo might actually fix ur issue
May 26, 2011 00:14
use gem install grb as grb is a nice simplification of git branching and can fix these missconfigs
May 26, 2011 00:13
than "origin"
May 26, 2011 00:13
its checking against a diff remote
May 26, 2011 00:13
your remote is missconfigured
May 26, 2011 00:13
o oooo
May 26, 2011 00:13
most interesting
May 26, 2011 00:09
:P
May 26, 2011 00:09
you can git push that
May 26, 2011 00:08
that is not part of origin
May 26, 2011 00:08
that means you have a local checkin

Q: Multiple Video Card / Monitor Setup -- Need help getting it working.

Dmitriy LikhtenSo I currently have a dual-ati video card setup on my laptop. A low-power one and a high power one. In windows 7 the drivers switch video cards when on external vs internal power. Also one of the video cards contains an HDMI output which I would like to use as it lets me plug in my monitor. So ...

avilellaHybrid graphics has improved a bit lately. The latest Catalyst drivers provide a login/logout switch. Have a look at these websites: https://launchpad.net/~hybrid-graphics-linux http://linux-hybrid-graphics.blogspot.com

May 26, 2011 00:03
just revisiting an issue i keep asking about
May 26, 2011 00:03
hey dudes
May 11, 2011 22:43
damn no suggestions for reducing mouse-pad sensitivity?
May 11, 2011 22:30
they really thought this hardware through... go hp
May 11, 2011 22:30
wats worse is that the buttons themselves are part of the touchpad... so clicking and aiming is very difficult unless i can reduce the touch zone
May 11, 2011 22:29
a LOT of force needed
May 11, 2011 22:29
basically its very difficult to click it
May 11, 2011 22:29
the touchpad on this comp is a piece of crap new hardware
May 11, 2011 22:29
i wish
May 11, 2011 22:28
hey guys, anyone know how to make the touchpad less sensitive so accidental touches don't trigger an immediate click?
May 11, 2011 04:18
maybe not
May 11, 2011 04:18
looks like there are other issues with the 5600 card
May 11, 2011 04:18
ok well
May 11, 2011 04:18
crap!
May 11, 2011 04:16
ok so how do i blacklist this other card
May 11, 2011 04:16
nice bro!
May 11, 2011 04:15
maybe i can just blacklist it?
