It's still due in 2 weeks, and he did seem very serious about this, he mentioned it would likely be escalated in to the dean's office if it was promptly removed. My university tends to take these matter very seriously, and I've seen people get in trouble for smaller things.

He mentioned that if I don't remove it, it would be seen as a violation and basically the same as handing out the answers to the assignment

I was wondering what can be done about the posts? I don't want to get kicked out of that class
