I will have to be going now, but thanks a lot!

⋄Elements ← {×/⍴⍵}
Jan 24, 2022 20:47
Sorry, i hadn't seen that message yet. Is it ×/⍴(the numbers)?
Jan 24, 2022 20:38
I indeed haven't done any programming before
Jan 24, 2022 20:36
Thank you!
Jan 24, 2022 20:35
With ⍴⍴(the number/letters)? Like you count the shape of the numbers/letters, and then you count the amount of numbers in that
Jan 24, 2022 20:25
I see, that's clear
Jan 24, 2022 20:20
⋄3 4 ⌷ 3 5⍴'EliseQuickStudy'
Jan 24, 2022 20:18
If you would have a rank 3 array, how would you point out in which layer of the list it is? I would assume it would have a second layer above, like two matrixes
Jan 24, 2022 20:11
0?
Jan 24, 2022 20:09
Yes, the language bar is here now
Jan 24, 2022 20:00
No, i just copy paste them
Jan 24, 2022 20:00
How can I use the shift L? It doensn't write the ⌷ when i try it
Jan 24, 2022 19:54
What does the rho do?
Jan 24, 2022 19:46
What are arrays?
Jan 24, 2022 19:34
Yeah sure!
Jan 24, 2022 19:29
⋄ +/÷⍨3 1 4 1 5
Jan 24, 2022 19:26
@Adám I can't think of any way to do that
Jan 24, 2022 19:20
No, I don't remember it right now
Jan 24, 2022 19:13
@Adám could you teach me some more about apl?
Jan 12, 2022 17:54
I will have to get going now, but thanks a lot!
Jan 12, 2022 17:53
⋄÷⍨3 1 4 1 5
Jan 12, 2022 17:52
⋄ 3 1 4 1 5 ÷ ⍨
Jan 12, 2022 17:44
⋄3 1 4 1 5 <⍨0
Jan 12, 2022 17:41
I believe squaring it with 0 would do that
Jan 12, 2022 17:38
For that specific list of numbers ⋄3 1 4 1 5 < 9 9 9 9 9 would work, but that wouldn't work for each list of numbers
Jan 12, 2022 17:35
⋄3 1 4 1 5 ×⍨0
Jan 12, 2022 17:26
Is it ⋄*⍨2
Jan 12, 2022 17:03
Thank you!
Jan 12, 2022 17:01
@Adám could you teach me a bit more about APL?
Jan 12, 2022 13:43
I'm not a programmer yet, and thank you!
Jan 11, 2022 23:17
I will be going to sleep now, thank you very much for teaching me!
Jan 11, 2022 23:16
⋄+/⍳100
Jan 11, 2022 23:15
⋄ !⍳100
Jan 11, 2022 23:13
I knew what it was after you explained it, I just hadn't heard that term before
Jan 11, 2022 23:11
It works the same in a graphic calculator
Jan 11, 2022 23:10
⋄ !10
Jan 11, 2022 23:08
Nope I haven't
Jan 11, 2022 23:06
⋄ 10+45
Jan 11, 2022 23:04
⋄ 10+45
Jan 11, 2022 22:59
the number multiplied by each number, like 4^2= 16 and it's devided by 16
Jan 11, 2022 22:52
¯1 ¯3
Jan 11, 2022 22:47
For a negative number and for example 10-5=5
Jan 11, 2022 22:45
10% for half an hour is pretty nice
Jan 11, 2022 22:42
I believe it says which of the letters are the same on both sides
Jan 11, 2022 22:39
It says which number of the left side are bigger than the numbers on the right side, the 1 means it is a bigger number, the 0 means it isn't.
Jan 11, 2022 22:34
The fisrt number on the left side was added to the first number of the right side, second to the second, and third to the third.
Jan 11, 2022 22:32
It added one to each of the numbers separately
Jan 11, 2022 22:23
I would assume that's 5
Jan 11, 2022 22:19
Yes that would be nice!
