> Of 200 bodies, only 10 were confirmed as Hamas members': IDF soldiers who served in Gaza tell Haaretz that anyone who crosses an imaginary line in the contested Neztarim corridor is shot to death, with every Palestinian casualty counting as a terrorist – even if they were just a child
I’ve discussed this conflict several times with Israelis, Jews and Americans. I often struggle to reach through, much because we are informed by sources so differently.
Looking through quite a few pages of transcripts, I can only find links to reports of Israel committing actions, legitimate or not, either in Gaza, Yemen, elsewhere, or American politicians such as Bernie Sanders saying Benjamin Netanhyauh is a war criminal. In other words, I can’t seem to find the nuance I am looking for. That’s quite unfortunate, as I’d hoped this feed could give the full picture of the situation.
@raf Well, yes and no. I’ve had 555 for a month (or two already?), but a week ago, my computer also started having issues with booting from hibernation/sleep sometimes. The only thing that works for me is cutting the power supply. Although I get no video output at all, and the fans stop spinning shortly after turning it on. RGB stays on, mostly, but the CPU pump also seems to shut down. The CPU fans, though, they keep running.
@DavidDE Somebody commented that in a new answer. I flagged it for conversion to a comment, not sure if that’s been done already. Matthew can be a bit black and white in his opinions, yes, but I appreciate that he’s contributing, nonetheless. Yeah, I don’t always disagree with him, either. If you think the answers are wrong, just downvote them (requires an account).
@StephenKitt A similar concern was raised in the AskUbuntu room too, so he's not the only one in the bigger group. But happy to hear you're fine with it, at least.
@ilkkachu It is. Either a ticker feed that temporarily appears in the upper right corner in the chat room to users present in the room, or the standard as-a-message feed.
