TLDR: is discussion ended? If not, where should it be?

It's not clear if the majority will win a vote/proposal or if this is just an intent to collect initial directional feedback for further discussion. This post asking this chat comment implies the criteria is "well received" seems to imply some unspecified number of downvotes may be sufficient. I guess I'm just curious if these are final proposals and this is a final vote, or if there will be more opportunity to discuss.

@V2Blast It's more of a meta question. In the initial question collection post, it was clearly stated to "direct any responses/suggestions to [this] chat room". However, the Gudance Proposals post simply says to "indicate approval of a proposal with an upvote, and disapproval with a downvote" without any mention of further discussion...

If we want to explain our downvote on one of the questions, should we do it in a comment there or a chat room here?

Although I'd prefer we tweak the rules to, for example, not always have "offensive" and "toxic" triggering together and doubling scores.

@Mast I know that there's always at least one human in the loop to prevent a fp autoflag from completely nuking a post, and I'm willing to accept the risk of declined spam flags on the rare occasions when that human intervenes.

@Mast My goals are to autoflag spam and eliminate it as quickly as possible from the site.

Sorry, hadn't read that far back in history. I understood system-level block as "prevent from posting" rather than an automatic "death penalty for slightest transgression"

@NobodyNada I may share your opinion, but I also think the vast majority of users are acting in good faith. And there's a lot of useless noise posted in good faith.
