@fgrieu Ok
Apr 30, 2020 15:08
(thank you very much for the answer btw :-) )
Apr 30, 2020 15:07
Can I use this answer as argumentation for IND-CPA security?
Apr 30, 2020 15:06

@fgrieu Can you please send me your mail here: [email protected] ? Please copy the mail and let me know after coping, I will delete this message then :)

Was not able to get your mail address :P
Apr 16, 2020 05:53
@fgrieu Thanks, can OAEP make it IND-CCA2 secure? Last time you said it can't
Apr 15, 2020 07:12
Is there any paper where the 1-bit leakage problem is mentioned?
Apr 15, 2020 07:11
@fgrieu Hi, Can I get your personal mail add.? :)
Mar 5, 2020 09:12
@fgrieu Thanks :)

@fgrieu Can you please give an informal argument for IND-CPA security of ElGamal + OAEP? Like given here - crypto.stackexchange.com/a/35195/60079
Feb 29, 2020 07:10
@fgrieu Thanks :)
Feb 29, 2020 06:11
@fgrieu Can you please tell me what is PS value?
Feb 29, 2020 05:57
@fgrieu Can you please elaborate the informal statement? I want to use it as a formal proof.
Feb 28, 2020 18:03
Here I have asked the question @fgrieu
Feb 28, 2020 17:45
Sorry for late reply :)
Feb 28, 2020 17:40
@fgrieu The padding oracle attack.
Feb 28, 2020 17:38
@fgrieu Sure, I will post a question.
Feb 28, 2020 17:35
@SEJPM I mean the padding oracle attack
Feb 28, 2020 10:28
@SEJPM @fgrieu Hi sir, can you please tell me how I can show that ElGamal + OAEP is secure from Oracle attack and ind-CPA attack?
Jan 7, 2020 15:36
@SEJPM Thanks for the detailed explanation :)
Jan 7, 2020 05:44
Using BLAKE2b hashing function
Jan 7, 2020 05:44
@SEJPM Yes, I'm trying to figure out the asymptotic complexity of ElGamal+OAEP
Jan 6, 2020 15:01
@SEJPM
Jan 6, 2020 13:55
Actually, I'm using Blake2b hashing function. I don't know how to compute it's complexity!
Jan 6, 2020 13:49
I want to compute time complexity for ElGamal with padding. Can anyone tell me how I can do it?
Dec 13, 2019 13:50
@SEJPM Ok
Dec 13, 2019 13:50
Ok, so I can first pad the message with OAEP and then use the padded message for ElGamal?
Dec 13, 2019 13:48
@SEJPM Actually as discussed few days ago, I'm using it with ElGamal encryption. Will there be something different than we do in RSA+OAEP?
Dec 13, 2019 13:46
Ok, thanks
Dec 13, 2019 13:42
@SEJPM How I can do it? By arguments I mean arguments of Python's hashlib.blake2 function's argument - docs.python.org/3/library/hashlib.html#hashlib.blake2s
Dec 13, 2019 13:41
I'm trying to pad a message with OAEP, and using the blake2b function as hashing function
Dec 13, 2019 13:39
I'm confused about which argument will be which thing
Dec 13, 2019 13:39
I want to use blake2b as a hashing function for OAEP padding. How I can use it? Can anyone help me?
Dec 7, 2019 18:52
@fgrieu Ok, got it, thanks :)
Dec 6, 2019 18:32
@fgrieu Can you please say some advantages of doing that(ElGamal+OAEP)?
Dec 6, 2019 18:27
I have to submit something new within 20days. That's why I want to do something new using OAEP :p I think OAEP+ElGamal will be new but how I can show the motive of doing that? (Like maybe ElGamal+OAEP is fast etc.)

Jan 8, 2020 15:56
@DavidCarlisle Ok thanks a lot :)
Jan 8, 2020 15:53
Can anyone tell me how I can add images side by side here?
Jan 8, 2020 15:53
Hi, I'm trying to add two images side by side in a resume template like this: overleaf.com/latex/templates/…

@TedShifrin Actually I'm too tired to think about it right now :p probably tomorrow I will get back to you. Is that ok?
Dec 29, 2019 18:12
Yes
Dec 29, 2019 18:10
Ok
Dec 29, 2019 18:08
Ooh, sorry, (1/4+1/2)
Dec 29, 2019 18:06
1/2
Dec 29, 2019 18:05
@TedShifrin $\frac12 + \frac{1}{2^2}+\cdots$

Given that the outset there is an equal $(.5,.5)$ prior probability of either coin.
Dec 29, 2019 18:01
Suppose I have either a fair coin or a bent coin, and I don’t know which. The bent coin has a $60\%$ probability of coming up heads. I throw the coin ten times and it comes up heads 8 times. What is the probability I have the fair coin vs. the probability I have the bent coin?
Dec 29, 2019 18:01
I'm not getting how to solve this probability problem -
