@NautArch I saw that question and I get the thoughts on the animal control but I figured a normal mastiff vs a war dog would be the same in that area. The mastiff int. stats are only one step higher than a horse so I would think they would require guidance. I'm thinking more along the lines of benefits gained from training for war.

OK I started realizing I was probably looking for too much in one question as I typed that out. I guess I would start with where to find the mechanical difference.

I am open to suggestion or official responses on pricing but I kind of came up with a work through on that. I would love a rules answer on the difference between a war dog and a normal mastiff but can't find one so was wondering if I missed it. Lacking a official rules answer I would like peoples thoughts and ideas for a home brew I guess.
