Q: Is it efficient to use plpgsql functions only to validate identifiers and values?

QualpheyWill my queries be safe from SQL injections if I use plpgsql functions only to validate identifiers and values, instead of executing queries. Here are the example functions: CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION validate_identifier(identi TEXT) RETURNS TEXT AS $func$ BEGIN RETURN quote_ident(identi); ...

Herro!
Jun 7, 2014 19:07
but there should be an easier way
Jun 7, 2014 19:07
I may use a voltage sensor at that point, connected to a microcontroller which would apply voltage to a nfet
Jun 7, 2014 19:05
I want to turn off a switch when the voltage at a certain point of a circuit reaches 19V
Jun 7, 2014 19:03
To clarify my situation:
Jun 7, 2014 18:56
@W5VO isn't the pfet turning on at a negative voltage?
Jun 7, 2014 18:16
I want a transistor that is only lets current flow when the voltage at gate terminal is less than a certain value
Jun 7, 2014 18:14
MOSFET lets current flow through two terminals when the third terminal has a certain voltage
Jun 7, 2014 18:10
but I can't find it
Jun 7, 2014 18:10
It's probably asked on the site
Jun 7, 2014 18:09
I've got a quick question

@SpicyWeenie if you want modern opengl functions, than yes
Dec 25, 2013 12:57
yea
Dec 25, 2013 12:42
I think that in computer programming there's always something new to learn. And that is the fun part.
Dec 25, 2013 12:41
actually many people in this chat are much better than me.
Dec 25, 2013 12:40
@joapet99 what? :D
Dec 25, 2013 12:40
where each component will be a class, which has an image.
Dec 25, 2013 12:39
I want to make something like html and css
Dec 25, 2013 12:37
I'll use it for gui
Dec 25, 2013 12:36
where you can create images, and edit each pixel by code
Dec 25, 2013 12:36
and an image manipulation library
Dec 25, 2013 12:36
I've made a font rendering library

I want to make an online repository of a massive source code
Dec 25, 2013 12:34
at the moment I'm not even working on a game engine
Dec 25, 2013 12:31
I'm more of a game engine developer
Dec 25, 2013 12:29
i can't explain why, but I like it :D
Dec 25, 2013 12:28
and I switched to c++, because I wanted a lower-level programming language
Dec 25, 2013 12:27
and do more programming
Dec 25, 2013 12:27
and another good thing is that I play less
Dec 25, 2013 12:26
like Warzone2100, Battle for Wesnoth
Dec 25, 2013 12:26
and a few big
Dec 25, 2013 12:26
small games
Dec 25, 2013 12:26
But now I play more free games
Dec 25, 2013 12:25
I also missed it
Dec 25, 2013 12:25
you can do a lot from the command line and it's simple
Dec 25, 2013 12:25
@joapet99 I really liked linux, because it's like an IDE itself, it's free and a lot of software for it is also free
Dec 25, 2013 12:22
Well it just gives you classes for creating a window, handling user input, access to OpenGL and a few other useful classes like Vector or Matrix
Dec 25, 2013 12:18
I learned a lot with lwjgl
Dec 25, 2013 12:18
@joapet99 I think I did. I answered all the questions. And then some page loaded up. I think in german
Dec 25, 2013 12:16
And language, library?
Dec 25, 2013 12:14
what environment do you use for game development? :)
