Oct 27, 2017 21:20
Has the f on \fbox got any meaning?
Oct 20, 2017 19:24
@barbarabeeton good..just that "introd.." sounds like "I go before first chapter", but as you say, it is plenty of works with C1 as intro..
Oct 20, 2017 19:09
Hi everyone..You may know this: Is it correct to call "introduction" to the first chapter?

Oct 10, 2017 18:30
Same for you @moewe!
Oct 10, 2017 18:28

Oct 10, 2017 18:28

Oct 10, 2017 18:25

Oct 10, 2017 18:23
on texmaker config I have what you told me: bib(la)tex: biber %
Oct 10, 2017 18:22
biber: /usr/local/texlive/2017/bin/x86_64-linux/biber
Oct 10, 2017 18:22
whereis biber still returns:
Oct 10, 2017 18:22
when run bibtex, it returns "Error : could not start the command : biber ..."
Oct 10, 2017 18:22

Oct 10, 2017 18:20
thanks for the help..
Oct 10, 2017 18:20

Oct 10, 2017 18:19
"how to install vanilla...."
Oct 10, 2017 18:19
following the post in this forum
Oct 10, 2017 18:18
No. Look, I didn't know that texlive carried biber, and so, I installed biber with sudo apt-get install biber
Oct 10, 2017 18:17
It says: /usr/local/texlive/2017/bin/x86_64-linux/biber. Do you mean remove simply with sudo apt-get remove biber?
Oct 10, 2017 18:17
You are correct. No, I have installed Biber from console, because I am not sure how install the current version manually. I have linux debian based, 64 bits.
Oct 10, 2017 18:17
Hmm not sure about how to look the version but in the log file I found: Package: biblatex 2016/12/05 v3.7 programmable bibliographies (PK/JW/AB)
Oct 10, 2017 18:17
This is the output when run bibtex: This is Biber 1.9 INFO - Logfile is 'poweP.blg' INFO - Reading 'poweP.bcf' WARN - Warning: Found biblatex control file version 3.3, expected version 2.6 INFO - Found 1 citekeys in bib section 0 INFO - but at the end it say: process exited normally. From command line it returns: version 2.7
Oct 10, 2017 18:17
It got the same error.. :(
Oct 10, 2017 18:17
I was confused, it returns some strange thinh now: ! Use of \sortlist doesn't match its definition. Any idea?

Oct 4, 2017 09:53
@Raphael I think experience show it on-topic. But maybe you are right.
Oct 4, 2017 09:53
I don't prefer. But that's what happens to a big amount of [email protected] and of course it is not by choice. Anyway, is a quite complicated discussion..
Oct 4, 2017 09:53
Well i think it is something wrong, people start living to pay [email protected]; and so, you do what is well paid. I mean, is contributes to that behaviour
Oct 4, 2017 09:53
@StevenB.Segletes but what about this: do what you love. Why is necessary to be expecting a profit?
Oct 4, 2017 09:53
@CarLaTeX no problem, at least there is a good answer below with a long article for reading. Thanks..
Oct 4, 2017 09:53
@CarLaTeX I really couldn't understand that also..
Oct 4, 2017 09:53
@DavidCarlisle lol. Well but the important thing is what I believe (?. You are on the project also, isn't it?
Oct 4, 2017 09:53
@Johannes_B I have read you are one of Latex3 project members so a more extense comment or answer would be good..I mean, I would like to understand what is the philosophy behind such a way of work
