Dec 2, 2018 02:14
can we get this question reopened? I'd like to answer it. rpg.stackexchange.com/questions/136626/…
Nov 17, 2018 09:11
but then it's been 30 years since I've been in academic writing classes.

@MikeQ This answer english.stackexchange.com/a/298005/288348 is more inline with what I had been taught.

noted, but it's a given that the quoted text would not have ellipsis in it. I guess it doesn't hurt to leave it, Just seems odd to anything I have done/seen.
Nov 17, 2018 08:54
I have a question on the edit to this post rpg.stackexchange.com/a/135399/42354. V2Blast put brackets around the ellipsis. that doesn't seem right. brackets indicate a change made to the quote. ellipsis indicate text left out. thus, they don't go together.

hello
Oct 28, 2018 05:03
@Trish I approved the edits
Oct 28, 2018 03:56
and remove the physical description of it
Oct 28, 2018 03:55
Perhaps reducing it to: " A plane of spiritual travel instead of physical."
Oct 28, 2018 03:53
@Trish ah, are you speaking of the description I wrote for the tag?
Oct 28, 2018 03:45
@Trish Do you think the tag may cause confusion between systems?
Oct 28, 2018 03:42
@Trish I am open to being over ruled, but personally I believe that the Astral plane differs substantially from other planes of existence in D&D
Oct 28, 2018 03:37
@Trish If there are similar planes with different names in other systems, perhaps a broader term for it
Oct 28, 2018 03:36
so comes down to do we want to use the broader adj Astral or the noun Astral-plane.
Oct 28, 2018 03:33
@Trish well Astral plane is defined as a transitive plane (one used to travel to others).
Oct 28, 2018 03:29
@Trish Astral was already there, perhaps it should be remaned
Oct 28, 2018 03:03
perhaps the planes tag should also be added
Oct 28, 2018 03:02
@nitsua60 - the OP specified a system rpg.stackexchange.com/questions/134482/…
Sep 27, 2018 00:09
@Shalvenay poached yes, or sunny side up
Sep 27, 2018 00:08
@BESW eat you eggs with raw yolks. eggs yolks have an enzyme that breaks down cholesterol, but it is heat sensitive
Sep 27, 2018 00:04
much like the current trend to eliminate fat from school lunches. when cells walls are made from fatty acids
Sep 27, 2018 00:03
@BESW lol, candy/sugar is a carb not a protein
Sep 27, 2018 00:00
@BESW I'll concede that as a probability.
Sep 26, 2018 23:50
@V2Blast true, I was speaking in terms of US vegetarians.
Sep 26, 2018 23:48
@V2Blast I mean in the US. Many poor countries have traditional low.no meat diets... veted out through generations
Sep 26, 2018 23:47
"Oh, meat is bad" withoout finding out what it supplies for the human body
Sep 26, 2018 23:47
@V2Blast When vegetarianism started, they often had poor diets and low energy which was fixed by eating meat, so most cheated. This was caused by the movement not researching dietary needs.
Sep 26, 2018 23:44
*were not being
Sep 26, 2018 23:44
Most vegetarians, eat some meat though infrequently, this is why vegan began ... because the vegetarians were being truly vegetarian.
Sep 26, 2018 23:39
This is why most vegetarians will eat fish and dairy products ... they don't want to do the research necessary to design a healthy diet based entirely on vegetables.
Sep 26, 2018 23:32
if you mix them correctly
Sep 26, 2018 23:31
but you have to have beans with corn, neither one alone has all the proteins that the human body can not produce. Only meat has all of them. But by mixing veggies you can get them all.
Sep 26, 2018 23:26
@trogdor Beans and corn make a complete protein, and excellent supplement for a lower meat consumption
Sep 26, 2018 23:07
@trogdor Typically, it is because the American diet is centered on beef and wheat while others have less meat. So, we alter the dishes.
Sep 26, 2018 22:49
@trogdor In Mexico, tortillas are frequently used to eat with instead of silverware as most of their meats is chopped/diced.
Sep 26, 2018 22:46
yes, what most Americans know as Mexican food is actually Ameri-Mex. Much like a real Italian pizza doesn't have toppings. And french fries means french cut fries; they were not made in France.
Sep 26, 2018 22:41
@Axoren Note: in Mexico, they use corn totillas which are too small for making burritos. Thus, burritos are an American food. Tacos, on the other hand, are found through out Mexico. And they are soft tacos. Fried shells are also American only.

A: What size category is a reduced Tarrasque?

raveryIn 5e, specific overrules general. However, which is the specific, might be up to DM discretion. The following would allow the benefic of Reduce without contradicting size. I would say the Tarrasque is still gargantuan, but half as gargantuan as he was so reduce it's damage due to the size reduc...

Sep 26, 2018 15:41
is my answer unviewable due to a -3 vote? I've edited it
Sep 26, 2018 14:48
@kviiri Possibly, that was to reduce the cost of the PHB
Sep 26, 2018 14:42
I just don't detail what supplies
Sep 26, 2018 14:42
@Xirema I don't uses it, though I allow herbalism/medicine kits to make healing potions if they have proficiency and purchase supplies.
Sep 26, 2018 14:38
@DavidCoffron similar, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ring_armour#/media/… scale, stud and ring mail
Sep 26, 2018 14:31
@Yuuki probably with "punk genre". leather attire with metal studs
Sep 26, 2018 14:28
Spirit Guardian
Sep 26, 2018 14:28
In reference to this questioin rpg.stackexchange.com/questions/132437/…, would Sirit Guardians be Undead?
Sep 26, 2018 14:18
@JoshuaAslanSmith Yes, traditionally babies were not baptized until the were certain to survive 4-5 days of age I think it was. Though, the high rate of infant death has considerably declined since then
