Hey @SimonForsberg- did you get an alert recently from [email protected] about https://duga.zomis.net/tasks being unreachable?

@Duga rolled back and commented

@SamOnela I'd call myself a Rustacean, if that's what you are asking. I don't know if one needs to be such to fully judge the on-topic-ness :-)

Hello, world!

on win64 running cargo run leads to an exe file being created without error. If I run it with Windows it normally i see a window flash open for a fraction of a second before closing; if I run it via cmd.exe then it merely prints "Hello, world!" 🤔
Jul 11 22:52
while it seems unlikely for me to say this- I'm going to try win64 instead of macOS...

I was merely attempting to run that turtle fibonacci word fractal program

Q: Why does cargo use a specific dependency version?

yairchuWhen trying to follow the instructions of the pathfinder library, i.e: cd demo/native cargo run --release I get errors due to the compilation of the dependency winit version 0.19.3: error[E0308]: mismatched types --> /Users/yairchu/.cargo/registry/src/github.com-1ecc6299db9ec823/winit-0.19.3/...

A: Simple rules that generate complexity

DairThe Fibonacci word fractal comes to mind. Here is a simple Rust program that generates it: use cached::proc_macro::cached; use turtle::Turtle; #[cached] fn fib_word(n: u32) -> String { if n == 0 { "0".to_string() } else if n == 1 { "01".to_string() } else { f...

@Dair this one?

@Dair one could (almost) conclude that the more animations an answer has the more votes it might likely receive

Q: Reading a webpage for its list of sites, but getting only the sites I want

MaladyCurrently, I have this "leave only the urls that don't have unwanted substrings inside" code, but I can't get a comprehension that actually removes only the unwanted urls, if I do it without subtraction. This works: from urllib.request import urlopen, Request urls = urlopen(Request("https://web.a...
