Just so you know @Daniil, when you edit tags the post gets moved to the top of the feed (at least in the app). Not a problem whatsoever, just find it amusing that youāre the main character in my feed š
Iāve had a look at the Area 51 page and it says to be successful, you need around 1500 site visits per day. We have 215. How do you think we can up this number to make sure this Stack Exchange makes it through the beta phase?
Thatās a fair viewpoint - I think it comes down to what direction we want this community to go. Should it be a database of general information, or a compilation of direct answers that will give the person the answer they need, but may not be as useful in future searches
@KennSebesta I think that the particular battery chemistry would be important here as well. For example, if someone says I need X voltage and Y amps, but I do t know what chemistry can give me that, I would then not be able to use that information
@wizzwizz4 I think the kind of LiPo question is important. If itās āIām building a heavy-lift drone, what is the best battery chemistryā it is on topic
I doubt there has been a site without this discussion - itās a good thing weāre having this discussion because it means we can lay down what should be applicable before we go public
@wizzwizz4 see that perspective, though brushless motors and aerodynamics in RC aircraft are different enough than in other uses to be applicable here I feel
Thatās fair enough, I fully see where youāre coming from. I guess the way I see it, if the same regulation could apply to something else, for example āyou are only allow to have a campfire on property you controlā (which I have no idea if itās true), then interpreting it is more suited to a law SE than a drone specific one.
Iām one of the people who commented that that particular question wasnāt completely on topic, and would just like to clarify that I completely support regulation questions being allowed here. I thought that this question maybe wasnāt the most fitting as it didnāt directly relate to drones, and more how a particular word within the law should be interpreted, which isnāt within the purview of the SE. Iām very open to having my mind changed thoug.
Especially with the complications it caused, for example Brunt and Weyoun once appeared in the same episode together. Thanks for asking for clarification though, it helps me to improve the question.
Just a quick question: I'm fairly new to Stack Exchange, so I was wondering why people are down-voting my question, just so I don't make the same mistake in the future. Thanks!
