I would like to add next answer. I am waiting for #16 to be fixed or deleted.
Jun 5, 2022 23:31
Currently #16 breaks the answer rules as specified in "I/O clarifications"
Jun 5, 2022 23:29
Clarification of the rules: Ending in error is allowed. Printing an error to the same output stream as the number is not allowed.
Jun 5, 2022 23:28
@emanresuA Have you tried it? It prints something to stdout after the number. This is different from bf+, which prints error to stderr.
Jun 5, 2022 22:55
@emanresuA Do you also think that the last answer is valid?

@Dennis Thanks for keeping Niecza Perl. I thought you might remove it when it stopped working.

@Dennis I have no idea how to fix that, sorry.

@Dennis thank you
Aug 9, 2018 18:17
@Dennis I don't know.
Aug 9, 2018 18:17
@Dennis Yes, I prefer it to be on TIO's github.

@ØrjanJohansen Can you look if TemplateHaskell and ScopedTypeVariables can be golfed further? I want to add them to the big polyglot.
Jul 25, 2019 03:40
@H.PWiz Cool, thanks a lot. Will you post it on wait-what-language-is-this? If not, I will do.
Jul 25, 2019 02:41
Preferably without using other extensions.
Jul 25, 2019 02:36
I found code that is supposed to detect UnicodeSyntax extension in this polyglot, but it doesn't work: Try it online. Can someone suggest a modification or may be completely different way that works?

Nice idea, I want to try it some time in the future. \r vs \n is something new, reminds me of /* vs # added by Chance in C++ answer.
Sep 28, 2018 08:52
I don't think I will ever be able to produce answers at the same rate. So I guess it's the end of polyglot as we know it, unless someone else comes in.
Sep 28, 2018 08:45
For me it's not the end yet, I still think of it, though I don't want to add anything currently. May be interest will come back in several months...
I don't understand why only several people are interested - this is a great challenge, and Wheat Wizard did some popularization on reddit (I think). May be some new people will come in 10-20 years.
I would call current state a hybernation.

Aug 28, 2018 07:17
@WW So adding v2.0-dev branch under the name "Moorhens" (without 2) seems like the best way to go.
Aug 27, 2018 06:49
@WW It is better to add Moorhens 2, right?
Aug 26, 2018 04:09
@WW Is it ok if I request adding Moorhens to tio? Currently it takes 4 arguments in the test driver and still fails to provide full testing because ospd.txt is too large. This doesn't look good. You mentioned some bugs - I can fix them to make it more eligible for tio.
Aug 22, 2018 18:28
Double space can be added after the string. I already have a working solution, just need to write an answer.
Aug 21, 2018 08:02
Wow, thanks a lot, $ looks much better. I ditched | and was struggling with / last several days. It is doable, and Hexagony is not so bad actually - / sends it to the end
of polyglot, where fixing it can be almost fully automated. But it will break on any edits, and it is better to keep current Hexagony solution anyway.

After cursory look: $ is exit in Agony, but it can be skipped with () or []. $ is start for SNUSPs, and the only way to redirect
SNUSPs from the first line is \ because SNUSP IP does not wrap. \ is exit in axo, but axo can be sent down with %. So it looks doable.
Aug 19, 2018 07:45
Current situation, when there are a lot of non-tio languages to test, is unpleasant, and this is mostly because of me.
I want to do something about this, and the most suitable way to do it for me is this: I say don't worry about non-tio languages, I will take care of them.
If the answer breaks smth not on tio, I will fix it and add some test (real or abstraction) to the test driver. The same what I've done with Chance's [Nial answer](https://codegolf.stackexchange.com/a/170087).
This includes only accidental breaks, it does not include situation when a language is added to a group of closel
Aug 18, 2018 23:20
@WW Don't worry about non-tio languages, just post it.
Aug 17, 2018 12:47

Turns out GnuCOBOL also supports `/` as comment indicator (so line 2 is good as is), and `|` with `-facucomment` [link](https://open-cobol.sourceforge.io/doc/gnucobol.html).
`*` on line 1 breaks Pyth after fixing Underload and Retina: `#16"( *?63...`. Both `*` and `/` break Japt while trying to fix Ropy.
I don't like to deal with golfing langs, so gonna try `|`.
Aug 16, 2018 02:39
@Chance I ditched GnuCOBOL as soon as learned that preprocessor directives are introduced with >>, I didn't know that first 6 columns are not parsed by default. Looks doable, need to look if * can be added on the first line, this is probably the hardest part.
Aug 7, 2018 08:12
@dzaima There is a newline at the end of the polyglot, so just adding ∙123p to last nonempty line doesn't work. Is there a way to fix it while keeping the last newline?
Aug 3, 2018 23:39
@Chance I found out what can be added at the end of Grass by trial and error, I don't really understand Grass.
I don't know how to insert additional `w`s in the middle of Grass code.
Three more `w` can be added at the end of Grass (inside or after Haskell) as of now.

If you cannot move your code out of emoji section the only thing that I can propose is to add enough w/W at the end of Grass so that you can finish
main Grass code earlier: [tio](https://tio.run/##Sy9KLC7@/788PDwchMPLy7jKIUwICyIaDpdG5oAZQICkEF07BgvMRAC4URgGI7Gw8MsVahRg5iiATFVAMRYoiMrFwkcTAJmjABPGUP3/PwA).
