My goal is to build a server, which will create a project template, download resources from external links that passed to server and create git-repo. After that it will test project and send e-mails to developers/designers if something goes wrong. And only everything is great enough, this server will tag project version as release and put release build in release folder where person can download it. (Actually, developer/designer/tester/pm and etc)
Hello! Can anybody gives me advise about building service-oriented server infrastructure? I want to build server, which support several steps of application maintenance. Git support / app building support / tests / error handling / developer's email feedback / Logs (of course) / {something else here}. Is it a good way to use services as units of this server?
I think, that C# better for such tasks. First - beautiful IDE support. Second - good memory management (not an ARC, but pretty good). Three - many libraries/wrappers for it. Forth - your code-debugging time tremendous decreased. Fifth - expressiveness more better than Java and readability more better than any dynamic-typed language. Sixth - it can be more faster sometimes than C++ (my friend have a problem with big data and pointers)
@iSeth yeah, thanks, good question/good answers. But after several hours i understand, that Cinnamon Wiki not enough for my needs. (not full documented, many features hidden in applets/or js with this framework. And not enough comments in code :)
