I tried converting this answer to Jelly as follows, e.g. by creating a map to convert everything to e and using y, but I'm doing something wrong, any pointers?
Feb 27, 2017 11:52
That's pretty genius indeed!
Feb 27, 2017 11:33
Yeah, I saw that some new cases were added.
Feb 27, 2017 11:30
@JonathanAllan for codegolf.stackexchange.com/questions/111477/… I was trying something with finding the first pair from ØypØY into the input, but didn't have any success in getting to work.
Feb 22, 2017 09:56
Tried adding explanation to my answer, does it make sense? I hope I didn't make any mistakes. Or can it be golfed even more?
Feb 21, 2017 15:54
Beforehand, apologies for the many questions! But I'm not entirely sure how the order of arguments to dyads is determined. Say I have a monadic link that generates a list (e.g. 24Ḷ) and I want to index the argument. I got it working with 24Ḷ³ị, but I'm not entirely certain why it is required like this. Intuitively, ị24Ḷshould do it, but that just returns the list.

What's the shortest way to indefinitely loop code?

The Nineteenth Byte: General discussion for codegolf.stackexc...

I use my own interpreter with debugging support, I might add the -v as default if nothing else is given.
Mar 14, 2017 12:42
I think it should be allowed because it's just a way of telling where to find input. Forcing to use i seems quite punishing.
Mar 14, 2017 12:29
How many bytes is the -v flag for ><> again?
Mar 9, 2017 13:57
Because, well, it might be part of the difficulty of the question to figure out the coordinates.
Mar 9, 2017 13:56
I asked in the question.
Mar 9, 2017 13:54
Yeah but where's the boundary for reasonability?
Mar 9, 2017 13:53
would {(x, y, v)} with v in [queen, no queen] be a valid input format for this question? Computing them in ><> is a pain :).
Mar 9, 2017 09:18
now with an explanation!
Mar 8, 2017 15:31
Mar 8, 2017 14:10
Is there a better way than 84* for pushing a space in ><>?
Mar 8, 2017 13:58
Damn, I hope with the bounty on the unknown turing completeness question no-one will run off with the idea I'm developing
Mar 8, 2017 13:48
1 ~ to go
Mar 8, 2017 13:18
I only need to fit 3 more instructions in my ><> program, soo close!
Mar 7, 2017 12:52
Mar 7, 2017 10:51
almost done with debuggable ><>!
Mar 7, 2017 09:00
to enable some sort in debugging in an interpreter
Mar 7, 2017 08:59
Would there be a way in Python to wait for user input without breaking buffered input on stdin?
Mar 6, 2017 16:49
Thanks
Mar 6, 2017 16:49
@MatthewRoh I had a similar idea of a graphical stack based golfing language about 2 weeks ago, do you have a place where you share ideas, maybe I can tag along?
Mar 6, 2017 16:07
I should really add debugging to fish.py
Mar 6, 2017 16:04
I get a 502 though
Mar 6, 2017 16:03
fishlanguage.com down for anyone else?
Mar 6, 2017 15:54
I'm still working on wishing V a happy birthday
Mar 5, 2017 15:29
@MatthewRoh I had a similar idea of making a stack based graphical golfing language like two weeks ago! Based on the Google logo challenge.
Mar 3, 2017 21:27
is there a ><> interpreter with debugging except from fishlanguage.com?
Mar 2, 2017 18:52
I was trying something very stupid
Mar 2, 2017 18:52
ah, thanks :)
Mar 2, 2017 18:50
I want to push the length of the initial stack to another cell for later comparisons.
Mar 2, 2017 18:49
Anyway to use p in ><> as a value push, rather than a push as character?
Mar 2, 2017 15:03
allowing the \n in turn allows for quite a nice ><> golf
Mar 2, 2017 14:28
True.
Mar 2, 2017 14:27
But still it kind of feels like cheating.
Mar 2, 2017 14:24
In this question if you use echo "string" | to fill stdin, can you abuse the fact that echo provides the \n or does it come with a penalty?
Feb 27, 2017 10:48
That's a strong right arm!
Feb 27, 2017 10:47
Somehow it won't print though
Feb 27, 2017 10:46
Thanks! ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Feb 27, 2017 10:44
Such a pity that the cool golfing language answers are immediately taken ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Feb 26, 2017 17:06
Feb 26, 2017 11:11
Do answers in <>< need to count the -v flag when input is needed?
Feb 26, 2017 02:58
What's a good format for explanations for <><?
Feb 24, 2017 08:28
I didn't
