did it then!

Feb 22, 2017 13:02
I guess it's just those compilers messing up then?
Feb 22, 2017 13:02
Makes it even weirder..
Feb 22, 2017 12:58
Hmm yeah it happens on other compilers as well, just tried one. That's really weird. Maybe a good SO question?
Feb 22, 2017 12:56
Isn't it only happening on TIO maybe?
Feb 22, 2017 12:52
interesting
Feb 22, 2017 12:52
lol
Feb 21, 2017 10:41
Thanks!
Feb 21, 2017 10:41
Fair enough
Feb 21, 2017 10:40
I'm just wondering, in what encoding are we supposed to count bytes?
Feb 19, 2017 01:37
And some parser I wrote is finally working, so I can peacefully go to sleep. Goodnight guys o/

Punycode is a way to represent Unicode with the limited character subset of ASCII supported by the Domain Name System. For example, "München" (German name for the city of Munich) would be encoded as "Mnchen-3ya". Punycode is intended for the encoding of labels in the Internationalized Domain Names in Applications (IDNA) framework, such that these domain names may be represented in the ASCII character set allowed in the Domain Name System of the Internet. The encoding syntax is defined in IETF document RFC 3492. The IDNA methodology encodes only select label components of domain names with a procedure...
Feb 19, 2017 01:29
Yeah, it's called punycode I guess, the ASCII url looks something like xn--something.co
Feb 19, 2017 01:28
It's been around for quite a while, just not alot of people use it
Feb 19, 2017 01:28
Thanks for the link, and @DJMcMayhem here's a wikipedia article on it: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internationalized_domain_name
Feb 19, 2017 01:26
Oh I see, that's pretty cool
Feb 19, 2017 01:25
Oh right.. Still no IDN domain name support on here >:(
Feb 19, 2017 01:24
Anyone know what you get this rep for? http://ã.co/i/siqRCk.png
Feb 18, 2017 23:06
I won't participate because I'd have no chance, but yeah, I'd follow it for sure haha
Feb 18, 2017 23:06
I'd say make a sandbox proposal and wait for feedback on it? It sounds fun to me!
Feb 18, 2017 23:05
Good point
Feb 18, 2017 23:05
Ahh yeah, I forgot about different languages
Feb 18, 2017 23:00
But I wonder, wouldn't it just get kind of repetitive? Like, same code over and over again with just another answer added to it every time?
Feb 18, 2017 22:58
Like, it's just gonna be endless
Feb 18, 2017 22:58
It sounds really nice, but I think there isn't any winning criteria that way
Feb 18, 2017 22:57
Oh
Feb 18, 2017 22:57
Any examples of constructors like that?
Feb 18, 2017 22:56
o.O
Feb 18, 2017 22:55
I was gonna say, that sounds new to me :o
Feb 18, 2017 22:54
@ChristopherPeart that is
Feb 18, 2017 22:54
I'm no good with quines, never got one to work :(
Feb 18, 2017 22:01
Top comment is kinda funny as well
Feb 18, 2017 22:01
lolol
Feb 18, 2017 21:35
@LegionMammal978 Yeah, that hurts :(
Feb 18, 2017 21:32
@ChristopherPeart class c{static void main(){Console.WriteLine();} in C#
Feb 18, 2017 21:30
ok cool
Feb 18, 2017 21:30
test
Feb 14, 2017 14:02
"They know they shouldn't do it, but they still do" is what I understand from it
Feb 14, 2017 12:46
@Mego That sucks :[
Feb 14, 2017 09:36
Heh, I had it just then ^
Feb 14, 2017 08:49
Ever have that moment where you write code for a challenge and when you're about to post it, you notice you read the challenge totally wrong and your code doesn't make sense anymore?
Feb 13, 2017 14:50
Ah, it surprised me a bit haha
Feb 13, 2017 14:50
Someones profile picture just flew through my screen. Is that a normal thing? lol
Feb 13, 2017 14:49
Ahh, I see.. But what if I happen to have a huge screen on which those 50 lines are all visible? :P
Feb 13, 2017 14:47
Is clearing not allowed?
Feb 13, 2017 14:45
Hmm, good point.. It might not be as valid then haha
Feb 13, 2017 14:44
It never says it has to be from left to right haha
Feb 13, 2017 14:43
The question says "The output must be as 1 line"
Feb 13, 2017 14:43
@betseg Technically those new lines are not really against the rules
