and if user decides it's stackexchange.com itself, then I'm busted since there is no such url as api.stackexchange.com/users/{id}/associated .P

now I'll have to ask a user to enter his/her id from some specific site (whereas guid was stackexchange-site-bound only)

it's just one request for all associations and another to get all the sites (then do the appropriate set math in the app to get sites that user actually uses)
