I don't side with the downvoters, but I am skeptic about the skeptical nature of this question. I would have asked it on economics.SE or maybe even money.SE

@PhilipWood it's a lovely tool with the sky as the limit. Check out these illustrations for example. And next time, please mention the person you are answering to (if you want them to be notified of your answer).

I vaguely remember a story and now I am struggling to find it. It is too vague to be asked as a question, to the extent that I have no idea whether it was a movie or a book!
Now I am just looking for a starting point and hope that someone here could give me a tip.
The story is about a factory that is producing children. Something like the Storks movie, but way darker. And then someone "rescues" one of the children and takes him/her.
This is the only detail that I can remember for now

Considering the fact that she is 19 years old and this is most likely to be her first relationship, I would say that she didn't have an odd reaction to being rejected. i.e. she is not mature enough to be expected to move on easily.
