I swear 99% of the questions on this site can be answered with the same response. "Grow a pair, and be honest with her. Don't get angry, don't try to be smart, just stay calm and grounded and tell her what you told us." Also want to add that 'growing a pair' is not about being 'tough' or 'angry'. It's about being honest and vulnerable, which takes more courage.
