@tchrist I shortlisted 5 books to read this year. I will need to add one more book to the list: How to start reading books.

> The school building was old and collapsed as a result of heavy rainfall in the region, Amit Kumar, a local police officer, told Reuters.
yst 20:48
The news made it to international newspapers also and now they are asking to pay to read.
yst 20:47
@Cerberus I guess it was old or poorly constructed.
yst 20:46
Blame rain instead of poor infrastructure and building

> 7 Children Are Killed in School Roof Collapse in India
An official in the northwestern state of Rajasthan said that heavy rain had pooled on the roof before it fell in.
yst 20:21
@Cerberus Wait, isn't it the one that's discontinued? And some Russian version is available. The one Cowp told me about.
yst 19:59
URL looks weird
yst 19:43
I think I also got adblock removed because of lord youtube
yst 19:43
@Cerberus Which extension you use now?
yst 19:16
@Mitch Well
yst 19:07
Got it
yst 19:07
OK
yst 19:07
Maybe they meant this thing?
yst 19:06
> So how long has this been going on... this thang?
yst 19:06
They also use a phrase "This thang".
yst 19:04
The subtitles say "fruck out" but it could be that they said "frack out". It's not clear by hearing.
yst 19:04
A: Oh that's horrible. Are you guys all right?
B & C: Yeah it just fruck us out.
yst 18:58
The movie also gave vibes like Us.
yst 18:57
Have you ever heard the phrase "fruck out"? It's used in the movie. I wonder if it's same as freak out.
yst 18:53
@Mitch It was good, entertaining. Also, I think thought provoking so I can't grasp the meaning of the movie at once.
yst 14:28
But I hope it doesn't have some complex life drama that's not easy to understand.
yst 14:28
@Mitch Good is what matters.
yst 14:28
But I watch some Bollywood comedies if they're good and have some theme/story.
yst 14:26
@Mitch Good. I don't tend to watch comedies in general.
yst 14:13
Now I'll watch Get Out.
yst 14:12
Ending felt like a little dark comedy though.
yst 14:11
Especially because IMDb says it is also a Comedy movie. I didn't get that.
yst 14:10
@GratefulDisciple I watched I’m Not a Robot. It seemed decent to me. Also, not sure if I even understood it fully.

@JourneymanGeek That's what I asked and the answer was always NO
yst 10:58
@wizzwizz4 Yes, I think I tried for a good amount of time. But it wasn't enough.
yst 10:54
That is true I guess
yst 10:52
I often ask myself if I should start again, but again I know I'm bad at those core logic and maths and problem solving skills. So I don't try realistically.

When I quit, I actually gave myself 6 months to rethink my decision. I told myself to return again after 6 months to programming if I feel it was a bad decision. But I thought I should go back again.
yst 10:47
But I wasn't enjoying programming either.
yst 10:46
@wizzwizz4 No. I have nothing left now.
yst 10:46
I quit for exactly these problems. But sometimes I wonder if I made the right decision.
yst 10:45
This is why I quit
yst 10:44
Can you be a programmer if you are bad at algorithms, logic, problem solving skills and maths?

@AraFilani You mean CG COOKIE? He makes really professional and easy to understand tutorials. I started by watching his tutorials. But his advanced tutorials are not free.
