So this is for the 10,000 years in the future part?

@MilkyWay90 It looks like it's probably because of wrapping
Jun 15, 2019 03:20
@feersum If you do that with a 2d numpy array, it gives you a "vertical" slice of an array (0,b), (1,b), etc.
Jun 15, 2019 03:07
The one thing I can't unsee

Challenge incoming...

@QPaysTaxes Looking at the examples in the readme, the language reminds me of reverse polish notation for some reason
May 20, 2016 03:11
or just screw it all and learn Seriously
May 20, 2016 03:11
I guess I should learn Pyth as a close enough alternative
May 20, 2016 03:04
Maybe call it jav or something
May 20, 2016 03:04
Someone should make a Java based golfing language
May 20, 2016 03:00
This
is
not
how
code
should
be
May 20, 2016 02:57
They save disk space. Instead of storing four characters, only one needs to be stored
May 20, 2016 02:55
Tabs of course
Though this was just a quick late night mockup so I just let eclipse do the indentation for me
May 20, 2016 02:51
Hooray for RDP programming
May 20, 2016 02:51
May 20, 2016 02:43
Yeah definitely.
I was thinking something for the flatten array challenge but then I realized that an array is an Object
May 20, 2016 02:41
I would try to find this myself but the computer is across the room... Though I guess there is remote desktop
May 20, 2016 02:36
So I was thinking: if you have a java class declaration like this:
public class MyList extends LinkedList<MyList>
Can you recursively add lists to lists without resorting to raw types
May 20, 2016 02:30
joins 19th byte because nothing happens in so chat rooms
Apr 10, 2016 04:06
@QPaysTaxes If you want it to be as as possible, use Bitcoin.
Apr 10, 2016 03:29
@HelkaHomba Just had a challenge idea about wingdings
Apr 10, 2016 03:13
@ChrisJester-Young Or maybe I've been using eclipse too much for my own good.
Apr 10, 2016 03:12
@ChrisJester-Young I thought it's courier or courier new
Apr 10, 2016 03:11
The IDE is at least set to use Comic Sans, right?
Mar 22, 2016 23:12
@Downgoat I think that the definition would work now
Mar 22, 2016 22:55
Side-effects are allowed, but the function shouldn't use side-effects to pass the data
Mar 22, 2016 22:54
@Downgoat Maybe something like "A function should be able to pass data without relying on side-effects to pass the data"
Mar 22, 2016 22:51
@Downgoat Yes, writing to a global variable is considered a side-effect
Mar 22, 2016 22:43
@Downgoat js should be fine now
Mar 9, 2016 22:14
@Mego The Onion definitely isn't technical writing and I understand that perfectly. Though I've seen plenty of technical writings that... were not understandable perfectly.
Mar 9, 2016 22:08
I'm sure they could find some way to golf that byte off
Mar 9, 2016 22:06
@Mego and that's the reason why the answer needs to be as few bytes as possible :)
Mar 9, 2016 22:05
That downvote was not me

Jul 16, 2016 19:15
Just direct them to turn on news about the election. I'm sure we could transmit a couple channels...

Jun 23, 2016 06:40
I would ditch the "last", so it would become All|365 days|30 days...

So by the time it gets here, it will have a speed of 4.731x10^25 FLOPS
May 23, 2016 14:25
Their computer is 15 quadrillion floating points operations per second^2 (the PS in FLOPS stands for per second)! It's accelerating!

I was told that if I don't get a response to a question for a while, I should ask around here. Thanks
Mar 20, 2016 23:18
I read that if I don't get any feedback on a question I should try here
