An octave above f is 2f, and two octaves is 3f. Between that, what's the 3rd harmonic? What is octave + fifth? Same with the 5th harmonic, two octaves + major third?

What's the purpose of external input on synths like the Poly D and the Microkorg (XL+)? Is it so you can use the faculties on it (filters, distortion) like an effects pedal?

If it's relevant the song is minor throughout, in a song that ends in a husband's death, and the solo is after the last chorus, so there is no desire to go bright at the end.

I've played with someone before and we established that fifths sound good and seconds sound bad
