@Snow Same can be said about access. "Allowing access is irrelevant. IT can always provide access". Hence no need at all for OP to allow access to mailbox.

Not at all unless OP is in the job of sysadmin. Allowing access to the mailbox is not OP's job. Company which wants access to employee's mailbox should already have such access. In a way which allows tracing that such access was not performed by OP. So never give your password, not even to corporate e-mail. Company owns the mailbox but does not own the right to identify as OP when accessing it.

@NicolasChabanovsky If the other user wants to associate the question he needs the link to the english question. Can't associate without it. When he views the english version she will know that it is already associated. That's how.

@NicolasChabanovsky Most people, when reading a spanish question, will not be interesting in knowing if it is associated with an english one. The only ones who would be interested, those wanting to make the association will already know. Thus keeping the comment provides useful information to nobody.,

@NicolasChabanovsky If a person is trying to associate Question S (in spanish) with question E (in english) then such person has seen E. How can she not be aware about E being already associated with S? Only case I can imagine is when browser is not configured in spanish which is a bit weird for someone trying to associate spanish questions.

@gbianchi ¿Era necesario cerrar esa pregunta con menos de 5 votos? ¿No sirve el procedimiento habitual? Me vale como ejemplo de como ahora se es estricto. Esta era una pregunta válida con una respuesta muy muy concreta que se encuentra en la Java Language Specification. JLS que en una búsqueda de Google no encuentro en español. Buen sitio sería SOes para cubrir ese hueco.

@eyllanesc El problema de quien vota rápidamente a cerrar (para llegar a una medalla) se solventaría implantando audits. Pero esta comunidad no tiene suficiente soporte para eso.

@eyllanesc Debe haber muchos casos, pero yo solo he tratado algunos. Otro ejemplo es Contar repeticiones de enteros C++, Array (cerrada y borrada) cerrada por "no está claro lo que se pregunta", cuando está claro clarísimo lo que se pregunta. Se discutió en meta

@abulafia En un sitio para programadores no es tan asombrosa la coincidencia. Python es un lenguaje muy popular. No estoy seguro, pero creo que FJSevilla tenía también las serpientes pero con colores distintos.

@AlvaroMontoro Poner una recompensa para que no se pueda cerrar una pregunta sería incumplir las normas de uso del sitio, imagino. Tu pregunta es tendenciosa y desagradable. Para poder ofrecer una recompensa hay que esperar 2 días, imagino que entre otras cosas para dar tiempo a cerrarla si fuese necesario. Yo he esperado 4 días, el doble, nada se me puede reprochar.

@lois6b La humillación consiste en hacer pública una sanción. En SO las sanciones no se hacen públicas.

I know that students posting questions for homework or exams will face rejection when asking to delete the question to hide their lack of compliance with school codes. Same may aply to deleting question to hide lack of compliance with contracts or NDA.

@MaxW You can't delete a question with upvoted answers. Not even flagging it for moderation deletion would work since "You agree that all Subscriber Content that You contribute to the Network is perpetually and irrevocably licensed to Stack Exchange", see If I flag my question with a request to delete it, what will happen?. Unfortunately posting in SO is a no undo action :(

@JuanM A mi entender las wikis son ortogonales a la temática. Una pregunta "que no cumple los requisitos necesarios para ser aceptada completamente aquí tal y como está escrita" no se convierte en aceptable por convertirla en wiki. ¿Estoy equivocado?

@paulgarrett Indeed it is not that binary. Your answer "no questions, period" (not after the first few minutes) and So, yes, even when there have been ghastly typos, I've just kept things as they were. do seem quite binary though (or should I say unary?), hence I commented likewise.

If you've delivered an erroneous exam the least you can do is offer all involved students a second non-erroneous exam another day while also grading the 1st exam for those who so prefer. To do otherwise is to not accept responsability for your mistakes. The asymetric relationship between teacher and student is the only reason for teachers getting off the hook when they flunk like that. In a relationship among equals the theacher (or their institution/business) would not get paid or even would have to pay compensation for such a mistake, like in every other profession.
