But yeah, losing IklsR and TOG will absolutely end an era -

I mean, if it wasn't for the Winter Bash I wouldn't have posted anything useful recently... Realistically, the only reason I'll stick around is because I am SO CLOSE to getting to 10k rep, and finally getting back the privileges that were stripped when the site graduated. Aside from mindlessly reading HNQs and hoping to see something not awful on the meta, I don't really do much here anymore anyway.

@AnkitSharma yup. Investors are great to get your business off the ground, but they will come back to ruin you in the end :/

Besides, the WB mainly was a thing for the smaller sites, and most of those just aren't profitable... so...

why are you not surprised? Because you have been continually shocked at SE's sheer disregard for the community at large, on a repetitive basis throughout the past several months, to the point where I would have been more surprised if they did show a screenshot of the Bash's leaderboard.
