@Vogel612 Rust is 100% ready for production if you have an OS under you. Great choice IMO. We've talked about using it to speed up some image processing.

There is a single UI thread in every windows desktop application. In order to redraw the screen (or tell WPF to update the screen) you have to Marshall to the UI thread to do it.
