So this question appears to be asking for software recommendations (I have added this tag) and I was a little surprised to see it closed as opinion based.

etcher is a common term for the application but I was wondering if we actually need a tag of balenaEtcher with etcher as a synonym?

I was cleaning up a question today (feel free to clean up further) and I noticed some oddness with a tag. Looks like AU uses the tag etcher for the application that upstream actually refers to as balenaEtcher.
