@RichardU and if you do chiptunes with Little Sound DJ, it's exactly that :D
Nov 16, 2016 16:14
@RaoulMensink that would potentially be limited to certain type of music if owner is older. Might be wrong but I wouldn't expect Tatu and Bieber knowledge, more like 70s and all that jazz.

Walfrat, which question? Search brings 2015 question for me

Then there should be no reason why they would do so, assumptions are just that, majority of time they have no ground on Answers

almost lunch
Nov 16, 2016 12:46
But yeah, I know how easy it is to get into the whole assumption game
Nov 16, 2016 12:43
Did he/she ask for reason for downvote?
Nov 16, 2016 12:37
but I lurk only from time to time on Work SE
Nov 16, 2016 12:37
Raoul haven't seen that yet

@gnasher729 I would call myself a code monkey. Just because I have self-deprecating sense of humour that helps me deal with some mental health issues without breaking down. I would never call anyone at work a 'code monkey'. Or any other epitaph for that matter. It's despicable, that.

Wooft, some kind of Lead Dev right there. I met lots of people who had some kind of kink with that regards but never one who had it all. I sympathize with OP.

@Chad Depending on location, if you fire someone for defending themselves at work as you said, you might have trouble at hand for so many reasons. First you failed as a boss during team event to do your job and take care of employees. Second you mention right to defend yourself buuut no hotheads on the team. Train of thought suggests you might fall into that category.

I think both @Kilisi and other commentators are right in some respects. If that bully keeps on going and you got witnesses, you can go and escalate it with seniors/HR. Unfortunately if I would see, for example team lead from last job, coming at me and flailing his arms, I'd either run and call police (treat it seriously) or defend myself. Remember: Critical thinking and common sense work for seconds for some people. Pepper-spray sensation stings long after effects wear off.

could you use screentogif.codeplex.com to record the behaviour, it's really hard to judge what is happening if I cant see how exactly it behaves. When you are done, you can edit your question and add the gif to animation showing what is happening :)

Do you have any custom JavaScript on the page that you use to do anything with the page?
Sep 9, 2016 11:41
Ok, cursor is on last bullet point, you press enter and then it creates the bullet point below, then immediately goes one up. Does it leave the created bullet point?
Sep 9, 2016 11:35
So to clarify, when you add another bullet, the cursor jumps up to previous bullet point and the one you wanted to create dissappears, is that correct?
Sep 9, 2016 11:33
ok, Im editing your question right now. Does this cause problems for you, the changes to HTML that happen, or are you just curious about this? just to clarify what you are asking for
Sep 9, 2016 11:29
lets see if I can find out any info about this and I can edit your question and add some additional information if you want
Sep 9, 2016 11:28
Ok, that is happening here as well, SharePoint does mangle the html behind a bit
Sep 9, 2016 11:26
ok, so you just used ribbon to create bullet point list but when you look at page source it comes out like you described it? Let me see if that happens to me.
Sep 9, 2016 11:24
ok, I will get on to my test server and see if that occurs to me. You just edit the page as is or do you add HTML by hand?
Sep 9, 2016 11:21
Is that SharePoint 2010 or 2013?
Sep 9, 2016 11:21
How are you adding this to SharePoint? Is it in a web part on page? Are you doing that in Visual Studio?
Sep 9, 2016 11:21
Ok, so is that problem with editor you are using? Not sure if it's a programming or tooling issue judging from your update. Also why are you adding <br/> tag within the <li>?
Sep 9, 2016 11:21
Hey @Ram, could you add more information, please? How are you generating the list of bullets? Any code samples that could help us? It's hard to wrap ones head around the problem without some kind of detailed description.
