Interestingly it turns out that I've already seen Ferris Buellers's post-credits scene but again I can't remember if I've seen it back in the day or much later on the internet.

Were cinema-goers expecting such things in the eighties? or even home video watchers? Or were these things added to special cuts of them much later?

Very interesting for a movie from 1987. Were they doing these things at the time?

I can't remember if I did see it before but it just shocked me to see it this time. I waited and read the end credits and wasn't looking at the screen when suddenly this part started
