Hi,
I needed some help. I'm a newbie in sharepoint development.
I want to have a sharepoint server installed on a remote Machine (It is on my LAN).
I also want to use a separate box (Win7 Prof.) for development purpose.
Is it possible to deploy solutions directly from Visual Studio 2010 to my SP farm ?
Any help will be appreciated.

but I end up getting the prompt saying something like start the server
when I try to execute the following line
shell> scripts/mysql_install_db --user=mysql

I've tried installing mysql 5.5 using the instructions provided on the online manual

and for installing mysql 5.5 I even downloaded rpm packages and then asked 1 of my friend to convert it to deb using alien
