I doubt it would be accepted as an answer, but... given a normal console and a couple of controllers (or a different computer)... Practical examples: youtube.com/watch?v=IOsvuEA2h4w&t=674s by a bot and youtube.com/watch?v=hB6eY73sLV0 by a human

Ah. Well thanks :D
Jul 9, 2017 07:33
It does not seem to check for ambiguous solutions. Only if the intended solution matches the given regex.
Jul 9, 2017 07:30
But if I am going to post my own regex crossword-type puzzle I need to know if the solution is not ambiguous >:)
Jul 9, 2017 07:28
It also makes me want to write a program that can solve these kind of puzzles. Because I can :P
Jul 9, 2017 07:26
But I love the concept. May do a harder one after solving this one.
Jul 9, 2017 07:25
And they seem to use minimal character sets.
Jul 9, 2017 07:25
It seems like there are no misdirections in it
Jul 9, 2017 07:10
It's quite fun actually
Jul 9, 2017 07:05
Oh dear. A friend sent me this and now I am stuck solving a regex nonogram-ish/crossword puzzle
Jan 22, 2017 17:50
@MOehm As you wish, Yo... Martin.
Jan 22, 2017 17:20
@MOehm Excuse me Your Highness. I mean: "He is even more famous than His Famousness-ness was famous before." 9_9
Jan 22, 2017 17:14
Oh dear. He is famous now?
Jan 22, 2017 16:26
@Sphinx Before I answer that question, is it on-topic here?
Jan 22, 2017 14:34
Welp, added another hint
Jan 22, 2017 13:35
I posted a puzzle on Dec 11, but no-one got the answer yet. People stopped working on it once I had to award the bounty anyway. I don't think I can post any more hints without spoiling part of the puzzle. What is more acceptable: Posting a hint that solves part of the puzzle, or just posting an answer that outlines the precise steps that should be used to get to the answer?
Jan 22, 2017 13:30
Greetings, beings.
Dec 24, 2016 18:25
Ah. Thank you :3
Dec 24, 2016 18:21
How's everyone?
Dec 24, 2016 18:21
@Displayname I... I... I might have eaten them myself too. But it is easier to blame someone. Speaking of which. What did you do with my chocolate cookies?!
Dec 24, 2016 17:43
And they stole my chocolate cookies. The virtual ones that is.
Dec 21, 2016 12:07
@BeastlyGerbil Have you tried glue remover?
Dec 21, 2016 11:32
:P
Dec 21, 2016 11:32
does barrelroll
Dec 21, 2016 08:11

Dec 20, 2016 18:45

Dec 20, 2016 18:36
Welp, added a second hint to my puzzle. Actually a pretty big one, but I kind of want people to get a start on it. Now go solve it.
Dec 20, 2016 18:23
@Saiid On the internet no-one knows you are a time-traveling teleporting drop bear.
Dec 20, 2016 18:17
top, left from "all rooms"
Dec 20, 2016 17:37
takes the broom from @Emrakul 's hands and puts it in the corner
Dec 20, 2016 17:11
@dcfyj Are we starting this paranoia again? I will gladly fuel it by starring it if you wish. I hate paranoia.
Dec 20, 2016 17:05
Well, you can get a hat by starring a message around new year I believe.
Dec 20, 2016 17:04
I can just say something really funny and people will then just star it all.
Dec 20, 2016 17:03
Honestly, the sidebar fixes itself
Dec 20, 2016 16:13
@Matt Guilty
Dec 20, 2016 16:09
/me thinks people are paranoid right now
Dec 20, 2016 16:08
The first three messages got a star from me. Then it got old.
Dec 20, 2016 16:07
@BeastlyGerbil There is at least one star from me.
Dec 20, 2016 16:06
@dcfyj Their parent user is suspended, so they can't talk in chat, even if they wanted to. Not sure why they are able to join though.
Dec 20, 2016 16:00
@BeastlyGerbil Did you see the hint that was posted?
Dec 20, 2016 15:40
@BeastlyGerbil You can work on my puzzle. It still has a bounty, and no answers.
Dec 20, 2016 15:39
Welcome to praphrasing-the-join-and-leave-actions-of-a-particular-user-channel.
Dec 20, 2016 15:04
People not posting anything on your puzzle is probably the worst thing for a puzzle creator. I really have no clue if people just don't want to solve it or if they find something too difficult.
Dec 20, 2016 14:17
Greetings
Dec 11, 2016 21:37
But yeah, that does not sound like much fun at all
Dec 11, 2016 21:36
Hrmmm; are you on Santa's naughty list?
Dec 11, 2016 21:33
@Rubio Oh dear. What's broken?
Dec 11, 2016 21:31
@Displayname Good. You won't understand it until you have solved the puzzle >:)
Dec 11, 2016 21:28
It might help people waste less time if they want to process the entire hex at once instead of in parts.
Dec 11, 2016 21:20
In Python and Java I know about them. In C, C++ I don't think such a thing exists natively. In javascript, I think it will turn things into floats, and finally gives up with +Infinity.
