In faith she activated the cause when she touched his cloak, then God gave the effect and healed her.

The cause was touch his cloak, the effect was getting healed.

Who thought within herself "If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed." (ref: Matthew 9:21)

Again in the positive note, let us mention the woman with the blood disorder.

For our God makes the truth true, and is indeed the God of truth.

And the main reason is truth.

Understanding this cause and effect nature of God is very important if wanting to understand reasons why God does what he does.

Therefore we can see clearly that because of Naaman's faith in what he heard, and since he activated the blessings with the works of faith by doing the cause, he received the effect of the blessing.

And since he literally "saw the Prophet", the 'cause' within the blessing coming from Naaman's wife's servant confirmed in effect.

And afterward he stood in front of the man of God, giving thanks and praising God.

Then God gave him the effect of the blessing, and his flesh was restored and became clean like that of a young boy.

Lucky for him he had servants of great faith, and did talk him into doing this, and he went down and dipped himself in the Jordan seven times, as the man of God had told him.

And he said this because he was an idolater, thinking the quality of the water had anything to do with God's power.

Are not Abana and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Couldn’t I wash in them and be cleansed?

And Naaman not understanding the cause and effect ways of our God said this:

When he sent out his servant, he had the servant say "Go, wash yourself seven times in the Jordan, and your flesh will be restored and you will be cleansed."

However the Prophet did give his blessing by creating a new cause.

I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, wave his hand over the spot and cure me of my leprosy.

In this Naaman was angry.

Therefore since Naaman did not literally "see the Prophet", the 'cause' within the blessing coming from Naaman's wife's servant could give no effect.

However when Naaman came to the Prophet's house the Prophet sent out his messenger.

The Prophet in those days was the Prophet Elisha.

Therefore in Naaman's first step of faith he succeeded.

And keeping faith (in what they said) he journeyed to Samaria.

And one day the servant of Naaman’s wife who was an Israelite blessed Naaman saying, to go see the prophet in Samaria! With the effect that he would get cured of his leprosy.

Naaman was commander of the army of the king of Aram, and had leprosy.

In 2 Kings 5 we read of a man named Naaman.

Here is an example where the cause given came in the form of a command.

Our God is the God of cause and effect.

I go to others that can hear. Good bye.

The darkness said in the flesh in thought, but by mouth in breath, that is the light.

We should place out words on the lampstand of the mouth, and not under the basket of the fleshly head.
