In the world of game and software development, I see the word everywhere. I feel that it's more than qualified to be a word and just because common dictionaries don't choose to include it should not make anyone try to use a different word in its place. It's used a lot more than some of the more obscure words that nobody's ever heard and which you'll find in a dictionary.

@anon Is there a reason that it shouldn't be simply added in an edit? I don't know that the author will return and make the edit since it was answered in 2013.
Aug 3, 2017 21:19
The answer I was editing was incomplete, and is wrong and nonfunctional in its current state without the information I added. The information was definitely not that of a comment to the author.

I'm having trouble understanding why my suggested edit was rejected with the reason "This edit was intended to address the author of the post and makes no sense as an edit. It should have been written as a comment or an answer."

I also worry that it will confuse users by having both next to each other. If just the pencil is next to the dropdown, it makes more sense that you're editing the selected item. With both next to it, it becomes less clear.

@JohnGB I'm still in the middle of designing it and I'm wondering where to place the add button because the way it is in the screenshot I included doesn't look good.
Oct 15, 2015 21:53
@JohnGB What do you mean by context? I've only sent two messages which are both visible on the screen above.
Oct 15, 2015 16:41
@JohnGB I don't understand your question. I'm asking for a suggestion on where I should locate that button, I don't see how that's related to user testing to see if something is a problem.

I need to let the user edit the selected network and also add a new network. I currently have them the edit and + button on the same line but I feel I should relocate the + button. Any suggestions where? puu.sh/kKs15/63587fa6ec.png

@Ryan: Thanks. I have posted it now, so hopefully some people find it useful in the future! graphicdesign.stackexchange.com/questions/54850/…

If I worded the title "Images in Photoshop appear washed out" do you think that would survive if I gave both a question and answer initially?
Jun 11, 2015 16:40
@Ryan: But wording it like that would be entirely incorrect. The issue is that Photoshop doesn't display the correct colors of the file it opens
Jun 11, 2015 16:37
@Ryan: Sometimes images opened in Photoshop appear washed out/lighter than the actual image when viewed in any other program. It's caused by Photoshop reading the Windows color profiles which might be wrong, and you can fix it by adding an sRGB color profile as the default in Windows.
Jun 11, 2015 16:33
Is it on topic to post a question (and answer it) about fixing an issue with Photoshop even though the issue is caused by—and fixed through—a setting with Windows?
Apr 18, 2015 23:17
thanks
Apr 18, 2015 23:17
I guess that works since it's pretty subtle so you don't notice it
Apr 18, 2015 20:24
I could extend it so it goes its full angled length like this puu.sh/hixqZ/6d3a432927.png but then it extends out of the central box area and calls for shadows on the outer area
Apr 18, 2015 20:23
I mean visually.
Apr 18, 2015 20:21
Anyone have any idea how I can make the shadows on the right edge not end abruptly? puu.sh/hixcz/bcdf5c94f3.png

I assume by "each" you mean for the question and answer. There's no - votes, correct?

Quick question, could somebody please tell me the + and - vote-counts for this question? english.stackexchange.com/questions/182086/…

Is this off-topic? It seems so, and I'm about to mark it as such, but I'd like some more proper opinion (I know that a review queue exists for a reason but still) blender.stackexchange.com/questions/9108/…

Good night

Apr 26, 2014 06:22
But now I can make edits which is nice
Apr 26, 2014 06:22
Ok. Not too useful then.

And "create gallery chat rooms" whatever that means

Just accepted one of my old un-accepted answers.

I'm 2 rep away from 1000 :P

Dec 22, 2013 03:26
Weird. Anyways, it's not an important bug.
Dec 22, 2013 02:52
Whatever. Not an important problem anyways.
Dec 22, 2013 02:52
Hmm, corrupt video
Dec 22, 2013 02:47
That's also a weird bug: Unchecking Render under Emitter turns it from Volume to Vertex until reset
Dec 22, 2013 02:44
Ok. New layer it is, then. Thanks
Dec 22, 2013 02:42
I know. But is there any better way?
Dec 22, 2013 02:42
I'd like to remove that cube
Dec 22, 2013 02:42
Those cubes are all particles of the center cube
Dec 22, 2013 02:41
Dec 22, 2013 02:41
Another question: Is there a way to hide the object that I'm making the particles of?
Dec 22, 2013 02:40
You may want to edit your answer to mention the need to do that
Dec 22, 2013 02:40
Great
Dec 22, 2013 02:40
Ah, yep
