the only thing they have in common is that you've got a bunch of weapons and a bunch of guys to kill from a first perspective

You don't level up or get better guns in Serious Sam

You don't fight levels with dozen hundred enemies in Borderlands

You don't have skills in Serious Sam

You don't dance in Borderlands

etc.
