Something that might be fun to do on politics.SE's chat if they are talking of conspiracies... and this is, technically... have two people have a conversation, and after each message self delete the message. At the end, have one undeleted "well, thats settled now."

Oh, another fun anecdote of language idioms... HS french teacher, when she was a exchange student in france the first time. Big dinner at the host family the first night. At the end, she pats her belly and says literally, "I am full" - Je suis plen. However, this translates to "I am pregnant." (the correct french is J'ai plen or "I have full") The host parents gave their son very harsh looks until this was cleared up.

Part of her amusement of it looking back at it was telling that she didn't know what she was saying... and kept insisting that she was pregnant. The host family were talking very rapidly trying to figure it out and she couldn't follow.

@MichaelT how do you typically deal with answers discovered through your query? Do you downvote, comment, flag these?

@gnat Many short ones are wrong and lacking... and already have comments. A down vote on them is enough. Others are just links, those often have comments on them too, but if not I comment and downvote on them. Only when they are not answers (comments from a new user) do I flag.
