You will never achieve 100% filtering, unless you pull the cord.

This question provides a nice solution for Ubuntu, and other than a physical firewall to handle that, you most likely won't get anything better than that either.

I can make two opendns network-labels

one with super lockdown mode and one with a little lighter mode

then with the ddclient I can turn on one network label during certain times with cron or pam

Q: Startup commands with zsh as default shell?

I'd like some commands to run a script at startup. However, my default shell is zsh, so the traditional .bash files seems unwise. At the same time, I believe .zshrc is sourced at every shell invocation. How can I run a command at startup when my default shell is zsh?

@OliverSchöning During the install it will have a large green tick confirming you've got a internet connection. Best connect both your laptop/pc via a wired connection. If you are installing via USB - the 2Gb is fine.

Just make sure during the installation that you select the mint partition to install within or it will default to creating yet another partition - you'll then have a triple boot - ubuntu/mint/other OS
