@Dimitrimx I'm not sure of the "proper procedure" on it, but I usually just leave a note at the bottom for someone to add the correct tag. Then, someone with permissions can edit it, add the tag, and remove the note.
For example:
Q Why did Alice fall in love with Bob?
A The author sucks, and the whole plot is stupid.
What should we do with such posts? You must be wondering why do I even ask this question?
That's because "plot hole" can be a legitimate answer to some questions. We can complain all we like a...
Title state's most of my question.
I have been wondering as it is the anime/manga section can we talk about site's such as
myanimlist
Why should we use it. why is it easy to use and such
Or talk about certain site's were we can watch/read certain anime/ manga ?
Some serie's can't be watched...
@Mysticial They were gone by the end of the day. I think the best approach is to stick them on an old closed question and leave them there.
@JNat It brought in a lot of clicks (I was watching the views, so I have a guess how many clicks we got). But it doesn't seem like the question got any votes, and there wasn't a big spike in new user registration, so I don't know if it's a success. More page views doesn't hurt anything, but I don't know if it helps much either in the long run.
It seems like a lot of tags that are anything other than "series-name" become the subject of debate in meta. So, what other tags are actually OK? You don't really need to list every other tag that is OK. It would probably be more helpful to describe what makes some of these other tags acceptable....
Our questions per day took a pretty sharp hit today. 2 weeks ago is when we first started seeding the site and we probably produced 10 questions then, all of which just dropped out of the average count today. We should probably start asking a couple seeding questions per day to keep the number up and the site active.
@Eric Whatever you want, as long as they're good questions. We've had a pretty good balance of a lot of different series recently and our frequency of shounen questions has dropped a lot so that's fine too.
when i try to add a description to the tag cage of eden i get 2 screens 1 with excerpt above it and another one. In which one should i put the describtion of what it is ?
@Dimitrimx Excerpt is for a short description of the series. Description is a longer explanation of everything that is included in the tag. If you want an example you can look at what's written for Naruto.
@Dimitrimx What you submitted looks alright, but you forgot to finish the last sentence.
>Cage of Eden (エデンの檻 Eden no Ori?) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshinobu Yamada. The manga serialized in Weekly Shōnen Magazine from 2008 to December 2012 was published in 21 collected volumes by Kodansha. On December 12, 2010
@Dimitrimx I didn't realize it, but that excerpt is copied from wikipedia. That isn't allowed (it's no big deal, but one of us will have to rewrite it). It's fine to paraphrase what wiki has, but copying and pasting isn't allowed.
I've just seen the tag-except for accel-world. By chance, I noticed, that the text was more or less copied from the wikipedia-article.
Is this allowed? Wikipedia has a Creative Commons BY-AT license, so you need to name the source in all excerpts. How should it be handled? Ignore it? Make better...
