We had discussed this before, but deferred until there was a problem - it seems we now have a problem :) The new rules (also apply to undelete votes): 10k rep users get 5 deletion votes per day on questions they don't own, increasing by 1 vote per extra 1,000 reputation up to 30 votes per day ...

question popularity is q score + top answer score, and the number of extra votes needed is popularity / 20

the thing about dupe closure is that it isn't bad for the dupe to stay up because it behaves as a signpost pointing people who find that post to the post with their answer

whereas things that are closed for LQ / unclear aren't really helpful for anyone

@hyper-neutrino As a general rule, but there are some VLQ dupes that should be cleaned up

There are a bunch of probably delete-worthy ones here... but that's a lot of cleanup.

Please don't go mass-VTDing posts. For starters, it clogs up the 10k tools and makes it difficult to find posts that should be a priority for VTDs

A rough definition of a programming language would be a way to explain the problem to the computer

And that language expects it to be explained somewhere else
