@Someone_Evil Okay about the upcoming meta, but the fact that it's been allowed to stay up so long really implies something not nice about the community right now.
@NautArch I agree that there is something wrong which needs to be addressed, but I'm choosing to assume/hope it's a matter of perspective/ignorance rather than actual not niceness and that talking it out and the expanding the applicable moderation theory will be useful (/sufficient?)

I’m out of the house but I have Opinions about the answer that was mentioned in general chat (the discussion looks like it’s getting moved here) and they are not good
@NautArch One can try, and then see what result is in the offing. Some folks will surprise us as a response, sometimes. But in this case, I think @V2Blast 's last ditch efforts demonstrated that the "I think my head feels better after I stop hitting it against a wall" thing was going on.
